Splindleclutch 1 Dungeon
Splindleclutch 1 is one of the easiest Dungeons you can complete in ESO. It is also one of the first Dungeons you will gain access to, once you hit level 10 in the game. There is also a more challenging Dungeon you can complete in this same area, once you reach a higher level, Splindleclutch 2! Despite being an easy overall Dungeon, there are a few mechanics that can kill you instantly and ruin the run for you and your group!
The Dungeon is available with the Base Game(no DLC required) and its entrance is on the Northern part of the Glenumbra zone! In total there are five Bosses in the Splindleclutch 1 Dungeon. This Splindleclutch 1 Dungeon Guide will focus on the Boss fights and their attack patterns.

Bosses in Splindleclutch 1 Dungeon ESO
You can find each Boss of the Dungeon by simply following the path inside. They are all quite easy to defeat but they do have a few interesting mechanics. Some of their hardest mechanics only appear in Veteran Difficulty.
Spindlekin – Splindleclutch 1
The first and easiest Boss of the Dungeon. An overgrowth Spider basically with weak Light Attacks and Heavy Attacks that cannot hurt you if you block them.
It can also spit poison as a conal attack in front of it and summon smaller spiders. The Spiders also spit poison and cover the ground with webs but they are not a threat. When it is low on Health it will try to feed on corpses and heal itself. Interrupt this devour action to stop it from healing. Overall an easy fight.
Swarm Mother – Splindleclutch 1
A larger spider that will not pose much of threat either! The Swarm Mother can also summon smaller spiders that spit poison, place webs and try to swarm you!
Her Light Attacks are not dangerous but her Heavy Attack can be devastating! When she stands in her rear legs and starts charging her Heavy Attack, Block to survive! She will occasionally leap to players standing further away, so make sure to stay close to her. Finally she will also spit a poison AOE randomly on players of the group! These remain on the ground but are easy to avoid.
Cerise the Widow-Maker – Splindleclutch 1
An easy mini-Boss that does not have much skills to be careful of.
Cerise is surrounded by minions that are however easy to deal with. Use crowd control and AOE skills to kill them fast! She deals normal Light and Heavy Attacks that you can survive and Block. She will also apply a bleed with Blood Craze to whoever has aggro, as well as a slow with the Agony skill. Easy fight if you deal with the adds fast and focus on her.
Big Rabbu – Splindleclutch 1
Another easy mini-Boss with several adds around him!
The Tank should aggro him while the rest of the group kills his adds with AOE skills. He can pull players to him so it is better to aggro him fast as a Tank. Before he can pull your healer or someone else from your group. His light attacks are nothing to worry about but he can also perform a Low Slash-like attack.
Occasionally he will move back and charge towards a player(usually the Tank). You can get out of his path or simply stand and block. This will stop the charge and stun him.
The Whisperer – Splindleclutch 1
The Final and deadliest Boss of the Dungeon! The Whisperer has a nasty attack that can one-shot you. Before you can fight her, clear the enemies that stand in front of her.
Her Light Attacks will target the player with aggro(Tank logically) and are easy to survive. Block to avoid unnecessary damage! Occasionally she will pull players to her and stun them momentarily. After that, she will start charging a large AOE under her. The AOE will spread out fast and explode. Get out of the AOE to survive! The Tank should be able to block it but the AOE will still knock them back! The AOE can happen even if she does not pull players first. So pay attention!
During the fight she will randomly pick a player and fire a blue-ish projectile! If it hits you, it puts you in a state of Arachnophobia, which is basically fear! A second poison projectile will follow and one-shot you! To avoid this you should stand a bit further away from the Boss. Once she turns around and stares a player, that player will have to roll dodge, to avoid the incoming projectile.
