ESO Exiled Redoubt Dungeon

Welcome to my Exiled Redoubt Dungeon Guide for ESO! This Guide will show you how to defeat all Bosses inside the Dungeon and clear it with ease and efficiency. Exiled Redoubt is an interesting Dungeon with Secret areas to find and Bosses to defeat. Each Secret Boss offers a unique buff, that will help you complete the Dungeon and emerge victorious. Exiled Redoubt is available with the “Fallen Banners” content, along with Lep Seclusa.

All Exiled Redoubt Dungeon Main Bosses in ESO

There are three main Bosses inside this Dungeon. Defeating all three completes Exiled Redoubt. You can find them all by simply following the path inside. The Bosses are:

• Executioner Jerensi
• Prime Sorcerer Vandorallen
• Squall of Retribution

How to Defeat Executioner Jerensi Boss in Exiled Redoubt

Executioner Jerensi is the first main Boss of the Dungeon. A tough melee fighter with the following moves:

• Light Attacks.
• A charged Cleave attack in front of her.
• Front Conal attack that knocks you down. The Tank should face the Boss away from the group.
• She dashes away and triggers spikes out of the ground. Stay away from them to avoid damage.
• Summons an AOE under a player that grows slowly and leaves a ground effect. Get out of its radius to avoid damage.
• At 80%, 50% and 30% Health she becomes invulnerable and summons allies to fight you. Defeat her allies to force her back in the fight. When you defeat the allies she performs a wide AOE attack.
• Marks a player, charges to them and performs a wide conal attack in front of her.
• She slams her Axe on the ground releasing a Wide AOE.

How to Defeat Prime Sorcerer Vandorallen Boss in Exiled Redoubt

Prime Sorcerer Vandorallen relies a lot on Status Effects and Elemental Damage but the fight is pretty straightforward. These are his main moves:

• Light attacks(inluding a Dragonknight-like Whip attack).
• Summons Atronach Spiders to attack you.
• Charged Heavy Attack that leaves a Shock AOE on the ground. Block this one to survive.
• Performs a spell that sends flame serpents around him, damaging players.
• Applies a Curse on a player.
• Transforms into a Flame Rider that runs around the area, leaving fire AOE on the ground. He also summons more Atronach Spiders when he transforms. Get inside your ally’s shield to avoid damage and force him out of his transformation.
• Summons a large Shock AOE on the ground. Stay out of its radius to avoid damage.

How to Defeat Squall of Retribution Boss in Exiled Redoubt

Squall of Retribution is the Final Boss of the Dungeon and offers a quite challenging fight. These are his moves:

• Light Attacks with its Swords.
• Charged Attack with its swords. Block this one to avoid big damage.
• Another Charged Attack that sends its swords in every direction.
• Infuses its Swords with Fire and summons Fire Tornadoes that run around the area. Meteors also drop on the ground.
• The Boss summons Atronachs to assist in fight as well.
• Throws a fireball that leaves an AOE on the ground.
• Follows you around performing a spinning attack.
• When Atronachs die, they leave behind an Orb that fires Elemental projectiles at you constantly. Interact with it to stop it and gain an Aura that damages enemies.
• Summons Ice around the area, forcing you to fight in the center.
• Shock AOEs under players, that explode and deal damage. Block those.
• Attacks with Lightning all players. Cannot avoid this attack.

All Exiled Redoubt Dungeon Secret Bosses in ESO

There are three secret Bosses inside this Dungeon. You can find them right before a main Boss fight in the edge of the maps. These fights are relatively easy and reward you with a unique effect, that will help you clear the dungeon. The Secret Bosses are:

• Guard Captain Paratius
• Docent Domitius
• Eliana Albus

How to Defeat Guard Captain Paratius

Guard Captain Paratius is the first Secret Boss of the Dungeon, that you can find before the Executioner Jerensi. These are his attacks:

• Light Attacks.
• A Charged Attack where he throws his shield in front of him. Get out of the way to avoid damage.
• A Bash Attack that can one shot you if you are not the Tank! Block or Dodge to survive.
• Summons Skeletal minions to assist in fight. Defeat them fast to avoid being overwhelmed.
• Summons a ground AOE, that slows you down.
• Summons Skeletal Protectors that shield him from your attacks. Defeat the Protectors to be able to damage him again.
• Marks a player and charges at them.

When you defeat him, you will gain the Bodyguard’s Protection Effect! With this effect Guard Captain Paratius saves you from death once every 10 minutes.

How to Defeat Docent Domitius

Docent Domitius is another Secret Boss, that you can find before the Prime Sorcerer Vandorallen fight. Interact with the animated objects to force him to spawn. These are his main moves:

• Light Attacks.
• Charged Attack that leaves a large AOE on the ground.
• Marks a player and sends Animated Objects to attack them.
• Summons Ice Ground AOEs.
• Summons minions to attack you and animated objects to fly around the area.
• Fires an AOE around him to deal damage.

When you defeat him, you will gain the Possessed Objects Effect! With this effect Blessed by Docent Domitius teachings, your bash now creates a haunted object. Enemies hit by this object will be damaged, stunned and knocked down.

How to Defeat Eliana Albus in Exiled Redoubt ESO

Eliana Albus is the third and final Secret Boss in the Dungeon, that you can find before the Squall of Retribution fight! These are her moves:

• Light Attacks.
• Fires ground AOEs that move around the area.
• Front conal shout attack.
• Raises her Staff and fires projectiles at you. You cannot interrupt this move.
• Summons a clone of her that attacks you.
• Performs a large AOE attack around her.

When you defeat her, you will gain the Mother’s Rage Effect! With this effect Eliana Albus’s rage lives on in you. Every minute, your damage is increased by 25% for 10 seconds.

Armor Sets in Exiled Redoubt Dungeon ESO

There are four Armor Sets you can farm inside this Dungeon. One of each weight and a Monster Set. The Exiled Redoubt Sets are:

• Vandorallen’s Resonance, Light Armor Set
• Jerensi’s Bladestorm, Medium Armor Set
• Lucilla’s Windshield, Heavy Armor Set
• Squall of Retribution, Monster Set Head(Final Boss, Veteran difficulty only)
