ESO Battle for the Writhing Wall Event

Battle for the Writhing Wall is a Community Event in ESO, that unlocks the other half of the Solstice zone! Players will have to work together in order to complete tasks, progress the Event and push back the Worm Cult threat. You can participate in the Event even if you do not have access to the Solstice zone! Battle for the Writhing Wall Event begins on October 13th 2025 at 10AM EDT!

Intro Quest

To begin, accept the Event Quest: “Support the Fellowship” from the crown store for free. Talk to Skordo the Knife at the Stirk Fellowship Camp or the Sunport Rampart Camp and complete his short intro tasks.

Event Stages

The Event is divided in Three different stages. Each Stage has its own goals, that players will have to achieve to progress the Event. The Event Stages are:

• Phase 1: Supply and Defense. Complete Event related Repeatable Quests and defend Siege Camps in Solstice. During this Phase, the Worm Cult also takes control of several Delves and Public Dungeons around Tamriel.
• Phase 2: The Assault Begins. Continue completing Repeatable Quests and defend Camps. The Daedra Ghishzor appears as a World Boss on Solstice.
• Phase 3: Fall of the Writhing Wall. Break through the wall and clear the Writhing Fortress public instance. This phase will last one Week from when the Writhing Fortress is first completed on a given server.

When the Writhing Fortress is cleared for the first time on a given server, that Server gains access to the Eastern Part of the Solstice zone.

Repeatable Quests

There are four Repeatable Quests you can accept at the camps. Completing them advances the Event meter and brings the community one step closer into Eastern Solstice. The Quest NPC are:

• Armorer Reistaff, that asks you to craft items.
• General Zasimba, only available in Solstice and asks you to defend camps and defeat enemies.
• Orinde Glenuvon, that requests Vitrified Souls.
• Quartermaster Nurwalne, that requests supplies.

Writhing Wall Event Rewards in ESO

When you complete Repeatable Quests for the Fellowship or defeat related Bosses, you advance the Event meter but also get Glorious and Normal Writhing Reward Coffers! These Coffers can contain a variety of items including:

• Unique Skill Style fragments: “Caltrops, Bone”
• Unique Outfit Style: “Wormwrithe” Style Pages
• Unique Pet fragments: “Wormwrithe Haj Mota Hatchling”
• Unique Motif: “Fellowship of Stirk” Motif Pages
• Solstice Armor Sets
• Treasures(This reward has a very low chance to be replaced with the Coldharbour Surreal Estate if you do not already own it, or with a sellable treasure of exceptional value if you do)
• Crafting Materials
• Furnishing Plans
• Furnishing
• Gold

How to Unlock the Wall Breaker Unique Title in ESO

By participating to the Event you have a chance to unlock the unique “Wall Breaker” Title. To unlock this title, you will have to complete the Writhing Fortress during Phase 3 of the Event. You must own the 2025 Content Pass to be able to earn the title.

Writhing Wall Event Golden Pursuits

While the Event is live a dedicated Golden Pursuits Campaign will also be available. The tasks of the campaign are related to the Event and its rewards include the Coldharbour Dremnaken Runt Pet and Wormwrithe Bear-Lizard mount.

Can I earn Event Tickets during the Writhing Wall Event in ESO?

You cannot earn Event Tickets by completing activities in the Writhing Wall Event!

New Zone Story Quest

While the Event is live, Prince Azah also offers a new Zone Story Quest! You can talk to him outside the Fellowship Camp in Solstice to begin this Quest.
