Farever Rifts
The Rifts of Farever are special, permanent Events that reward players with unique items. Rifts offer challenging Raid-like content to players, that forces them to work together and assists with character progression. Rifts were added to the game with The Nightling Invasion Update!

How Rifts Work in Farever
Every hour a Rift opens around the world. An eye-like icon will appear at the location of the map where the Rift is going to open. Visit the location and enter the rift to join a group of other players automatically.
Several Gates will appear inside the Rift. Defeat enemies around the Gates to close them before the timer ends. The more Gates you close, the better your rewards will be. Once the timer ends, the final Boss of the Rift will appear. This is a challenging Boss with unique and deadly mechanics. You will have to work together to survive and defeat it.

Rifts scale dynamically and continuously, based on the number of players inside. Additionally, the difficulty of the Rift dynamically adjusts based on the level of each participating player(below the maximum level). When you defeat the final Boss, open the chests that appear to collect your rewards. If you fail the fight, you can try again.
Rifts Boss Mechanics
At the moment there are two different Bosses you can fight inside a Farever Rift, Nightking Maat Demon and Nightqueen Shaarlize Te’ror. These are their main mechanics.
Nightking Maat Demon main moves include:
- Spawns a Chaos Orb above certain players with an dark aura around them. After a moment the aura leaves an AOE on the ground. Players that get the Orb should move to the edge of the area and place the AOE there.
- Front conal attack that leaves a large AOE on the ground. Tanking the Boss closer to the edge leaves more area free.
- Stands in the middle of the area and does massive AOE attacks. Stack together for heals and shields.
- Targets a large area with an AOE, jumps there and deals massive damage. Releases Chaos Orbs on impact that travel outwards. Get away from the area and avoid the Orbs.

Nightqueen Shaarlize Te’ror main moves include:
- Spawns Chaos holes on the ground and fires Chaos Orbs. The Orbs will slow head to each Chaos hole. If they enter, they unleash massive AOE attacks. Players should stand on the holes, so Orbs will bounce away.
- Summons Guardians to protect her and deal damage.
- The Nightqueen disappears and leaves clones behind her. One of them is Red and the other are blue. Attack and kill only the Red Clone! If you kill a Blue Clone you will wipe!

By completing a Rift you can earn a variety of rewards, from unique Weapons to Demonic Souls and Soulstones. Demonic Souls is a new currency that you can use to buy items from the Demon Hunter NPC, while Soulstones allow you to summon Demons at specific locations of the map.
