Soulframe Open Preludes
Soulframe has finally revealed the release date for Open Preludes, while also sharing exciting new details about the upcoming Preludes 17 update! Open Preludes is essentially the Open Alpha of Soulframe, making the game accessible to everyone!
Open Preludes will go live on Friday, November 6th, 2026. Once Open Preludes begins, anyone who wants to experience Soulframe on PC can sign up at soulframe.com, download the launcher, and begin their journey into Midrath.
Preludes 17 Features
Along with the Open Preludes announcement, Digital Extremes has also revealed several new details about the upcoming Preludes 17 update!
With Preludes 17 the world of Soulframe is changing. Players will have to reclaim the corrupted regions of Midrath by completing specific objectives and destroying Ode’n Syphons!
Mounts are finally coming! With the use of an appropriate puppy treat you can transform your Wolfpup into a mount and use it to traverse the land much faster.
Several new Armors and Weapons are also coming with Preludes 17, along with a brand-new Pact, the Ode Shrike! This hunter-themed Pact comes with powerful abilities to help you defeat enemies and heal the land.
Mines of Borro is a new Dungeon environment with new loot, puzzles and enemies! Preludes 17 will also bring back the Bita’s Eve event, giving players another chance to experience this special event.
With new ways to explore Midrath, powerful new equipment, mounts, and a new Pact, Preludes 17 is shaping up to be one of Soulframe’s biggest updates yet!
