Heller Companion Starfield
Heller is one of the many companions you can hire in Starfield! To unlock him as a Companion you will have to progress the game’s main quest. His skills are better for an Outpost assignment.

How to Get Heller as a Companion in Starfield
Heller is one of the two first NPC you will meet when you start Starfield, along with Supervisor Lin! You only see him briefly during the tutorial quest of the game “One Small Step“. Progress the main quest and return to the mine in the “Back to Vectera” mission. In the first part of the mission talk to Supervisor Lin and try to find where Barrett and Heller are. When you learn their location you will have a chance to recruit Supervisor Lin as a Companion too.
Leave the area and go to where the signal sends you. There you will find Heller. Heller is injured near the crashed ship, awaiting for assistance. Talk to him and you can now recruit him as a Companion!

Heller is not a combat oriented Companion. His skills instead make him a nice option for Outposts and exploration. His skills are:
