ESO Moon Hunter Keep
Moon Hunter Keep is a Group Dungeon in ESO that also offers a Solo version! You can find its entrance in the Reaper’s March zone or access it through the Dungeon Finder. Inside the Dungeon, you can farm three armor sets and two monster Sets, depending on whether you play the Group or Solo version. This guide will show you how to defeat all the Bosses inside the Dungeon and complete their special mechanics!
All Moon Hunter Keep Bosses
These are the Bosses you can fight inside the Moon Hunter Keep Dungeon. Follow the path inside the Dungeon to find them:
- Jailer Melitus
- Hedge Maze Guardian
- Mylenne Moon-Caller
- Archivist Ernarde
- Vykosa the Ascendant
How to Defeat Jailer Melitus
Jailer Melitus is the first Boss of the dungeon and can be a challenging opponent. He summons a large AOE that fires smaller ground AOEs in every direction. Avoid those.
He can also summon blood AOEs from the ground. Move around to avoid them. Melitus performs a semi circular attack in front of him and summons Werewolves to assist him. Occasionally he will immobilize whoever has aggro(usually the Tank) and charge a deadly attack. This attack will always kill whoever is immobilized. You can stop it only by interrupting Melitus!
How to Defeat Hedge Maze Guardian
This is the second Boss of the Dungeon and an overall easy fight, as long as you are paying attention. This Boss will mass root your group and after a couple moments will deal massive damage. To avoid the damage break free! He will also perform a Heavy Attack against whoever has aggro but also a massive AOE attack in front of him. As the Tank, block the Heavy Attack and face him away from your group.
There are stranglers around the area that immobilize your group members and drain their health. Interrupt them to free and save your friends! During the fight, the Spriggans that are around the maze will start empowering the Boss, making him invulnerable. When this happens, the Tank and Healer should stay with the Boss while the two DPS players defeat the active Spriggans. This will make the Boss vulnerable again.

How to Defeat Mylenne Moon-Caller
Mylenne can be a dangerous Boss, thanks to her deadly mechanics. She performs Light and Heavy Attacks against whoever has aggro. Block these attacks to survive. Occasionally she will pounce on a random player and pin them down. The other members of the team must interrupt her to free the pinned player.
During the fight Mylenne summons wolves and Warden enemies. The Wardens cast Shock AOEs and enrage Mylenne. When Mylenne becomes enraged, she can one-shot the entire group, including the Tank. Kill the Wardens and lure Mylenne into the large Shock AOEs they leave behind to remove her enrage.
How to Defeat Archivist Ernarde
This is another challenging enemy inside this dungeon. The Archivist attacks with projectiles and AOEs while summoning minions to assist him. If the minions stay alive for long they will transform into powerful Werewolves and deal massive damage!
During the fight, the Boss will focus a player and suspend them on air inside a shield. Destroy the shield fast to free them! He will also summon runes on the air. The runes will keep switching until the Boss selects one. When they stop switching, find the circle displaying the matching rune and stand inside it. Each player must stand on a different circle to survive. If two players stand on the same circle, the second player to enter it will die.

How to Defeat Vykosa the Ascendant
Vykosa the Ascendant is the final Boss of the Moon Hunter Keep Dungeon! She is a challenging enemy with a few interesting mechanics. There are two wolves near her that are tied with a chain.
The Tank should aggro the Wolves while the DPS are dealing with them one at a time. When Vykosa reaches low health, the two Wolves will break free. Make sure to kill them quickly.
During the fight Vykosa also summons minions to fight you, including Werewolves and Wardens like before. Deal with those minions as fast as possible. She can also summon Totems that fear players. Break free from their effect to continue the fight and avoid their AOE.
Vykosa performs Heavy Attacks against whoever has aggro, casts fire AOE ground attacks and can also pounce on whoever has aggro and pin them down. Interrupt her to save that player.
She can also perform a deadly cone attack in front of her. The Tank should turn her away from the group. Vykosa will cast a large red AOE around her that empowers her werewolf minions. If a player dies, she will try to devour them to heal herself. Interrupt her!
When she is low on health the rune mechanic of Archivist Ernarde returns. Stand in the right circle to avoid death! The best way to approach the Vykosa Boss fight in harder difficulties is to avoid burning her down too fast. Burning her down too quickly can cause several mechanics to overlap, potentially overwhelming the group.
Moon Hunter Keep Solo Dungeon Meted Misfortunes
The Solo version of the Dungeon features the same Bosses and mechanics as the Group version. You can optionally increase the difficulty by activating up to three Meted Misfortunes. The available Misfortunes are:
- Warm Welcome – Enemies deal double damage.
- Revoke of Respite – Healing taken is reduced.
- Alleviating Assault – Dealing direct damage to enemies, heals them.
