Imperial City Celebration Event Guide
The Imperial City Celebration Event begins Thursday, September 3rd at 10:00 AM EDT and will run until Tuesday, September 15th at 10:00 AM EDT. During the event, players can earn double rewards from every activity in the Imperial City zone, including Districts and Sewers as well as the two PVE Dungeons (White-Gold Tower and Imperial City Prison) located in the zone.
Along with the rewards that drop from enemies in the area, players can also earn a new Outfit Style, the Legion Zero Vigiles Armor Style as well as the third berry (along with the first two) for the Mossheart Indrik Mount.
The goal of the event is to celebrate the anniversary of the Imperial City DLC release. This Imperial City Event Guide will help you understand what you have to do and where you have to go in order to earn the event’s cool rewards.

How to participate
In order to participate in the Event you must have access to the Imperial City DLC. This can be done via an ESO Plus Membership or by getting the Imperial City DLC from the in-game crown store. The DLC is available for free at the moment!
To enter the Imperial City zone, which is a PVPVE area (PVP is allowed), you can press L and then choose the Imperial City PVP Campaign of your choice. With Champion Points enabled or disabled.
To enter one of the two PVE Dungeons of the zone/DLC you can press P and queue up for the White-Gold Tower/Imperial City Prison in Normal or Veteran Difficulty. Alternatively you can enter the dungeons by finding their entrance in the Imperial City.
Imperial City Celebration Event Rewards
During the event you can earn:
- Double the amount of Tel Var and Key Fragments dropped from enemies
- Bonus Chance of picking up the Stonefire Scamp or the Soul Shriven Skin
- Bonus Loot dropped by Trove Scamps and Cunning Scamps
- Bonus Drops from Bosses inside the Imperial City (Districts and Sewers) as well as its Dungeons
The first time you complete an Imperial City District Daily Quest or defeat the final Boss within the Imperial City Prison or White-Gold Tower dungeons, you will receive a Glorious Legion Zero Strongbox. These reward boxes can contain valuable and useful items like:
- Tel Var Stones
- Crafting Materials
- Xivkyn Motif style items
- Key Fragments
- Valuables to be sold to vendors
- Pages from the Legion Zero Vigiles armor style
- Pages from the Tools of Domination weapon style
- Xivkyn Motif chapters
After you have received your Glorious Legion Zero Strongbox you have a chance to earn normal versions of this box by completing Imperial City activities such as defeating patrolling or sewer bosses, opening chests or safeboxes, defeating bosses in White-Gold Tower or Imperial City Prison, and from subsequent Imperial City district daily quests.
The normal version of Legion Zero Strongbox does not drop as many rewards as the Glorious one but you can still find valuable items inside, including style pages!
District Daily Quests
In total there are six Districts in the Imperial City and each one has its own Daily Quest to offer. You can travel fast to each District from your Alliance’s HQ by using the appropriate ladder.
The ladder will take you to a small base of your Alliance, where you can talk to the Quest NPC and accept the Daily Quest. The quest will ask you to complete a relatively simple task in the District and once you are done, you can teleport back to your Alliance’ HQ to receive your rewards, including the Glorious/Normal Legion Zero Strongbox for the duration of the event.
Before you begin your journey, make sure to buy a few Sigil of Imperial Retreat items from the Tel Var General Merchant inside your Alliance’s HQ. This item will help you to teleport fast back to the HQ without having to travel through the sewers every time.
Imperial City Celebration Event Tickets & Impresario
During the Event you can also earn Three Event Tickets per day, awarded the first time you complete a daily quest in the Imperial City districts or sewers or defeat the final boss in the White-Gold Tower or Imperial City Prison dungeons.
The third berry for the Mossheart Indrik Mount, Berry of Growth, will also be available for purchase from the Impresario along with the first two berries of Bloom and Budding.
