How to Unlock Vasco as a Companion in Starfield! Vasco is the fifth Constellation member you can unlock as a Companion, as well as the first NPC that will accompany you in the game! Vasco comes with good Ship related skills that can help you when flying around.

How to Get Vasco as a Companion in Starfield

Vasco is the first member of Constellation that will accompany you in your Journeys. To unlock him officially as a Companion though, you will have to finish the Tutorial Mission “One Small Step“. Follow Supervisor Lin and Heller at the beginning of the game, create your character and meet with Barrett and Vasco. Fight the pirates, then fly with Vasco away. You can travel around and ignore the main mission of the game but it is better to just follow Vasco’s advise and complete the mission.

Go to Kreet with Vasco, deal with the pirates there and now you are ready to visit New Atlantis and meet with the Constellation members. Go to the Lodge, place the Artifact at the collection, where Sarah will join you as a Companion for the next mission “The Old Neighborhood“. Before you leave the Lodge you can talk to Vasco and unlock him as a Companion. You can now assign him to the Frontier!

Vasco Companion Skills in Starfield

Vasco comes with some good skills that can help when flying around. His Skills are:

  • Shield Systems – 2
  • Aneutronic Fusion – 1
  • EM Weapon Systems – 1

He does not have more advanced skills like the other members of Constellation but he can be an asset when assigned to your Starship.

Best Builds for Vasco Companion in Starfield
