Butcher’s Canyon Dungeon Guide
Best Butcher’s Canyon Dungeon Guide for Throne and Liberty! This Guide will show you all the necessary mechanics to defeat its Bosses and complete the Dungeon successfully.
What is Butcher’s Canyon in Throne and Liberty?
Butcher’s Canyon is one of the Level 50 Dungeons you can unlock in Throne and Liberty! You can access the Dungeon from the Co-Op Dungeons tab in your options. You can also request a Party Matchmaking from there, that will put you in a group of six(6) players and teleport you to the Dungeon. To enter the Dungeon you must be Level 50 but also have a minimum Combat Power of 1600!

Butcher’s Canyon Dungeon Bosses
There are three Bosses inside the Butcher’s Canyon Dungeon that you need to defeat in order to complete it! One Main Boss and two mini-Bosses. These are:
- Duke Magna
- Orc Shadow Elder
- Orc Shadowmancer

Orc Shadow Elder Boss
When you spawn in the dungeon, defeat the enemies in front of the elevator and retrieve their key! This will allow you to use the elevator and ascend. Make your way to the first Boss by defeating enemies or throwing them from the Bridge. The Orc Shadow Elder is an easy Boss with one only deadly mechanic. This Boss will perform the following attacks:
- Fire projectiles against the player with aggro.
- Summons allies to assist her in combat.
- Among her allies there is also an Orc Shapeshifter. The Shapeshifter will transform a player into an explosive Sheep! The transformed player will explode after a few moments. To survive approach another player to pass onto them the Sheep transformation. When you kill the Orc Shapeshifter, he will leave behind a blue ground effect. The transformed player should step on it to remove the Sheep transformation from them.

Orc Shadowmancer Boss
Defeat enemies and make your way to the next Boss. You will find three Orc Shadowmancers performing a ritual around a large structure. The three Shadowmancers are tethered to each other. While tethered they are invincible. To deal damage to them you will have to apply Crowd Control to all three at the same time. Sleep, freeze, stun will do. CC all three and deal damage. Kill one and repeat to the rest. When all three are defeated, interact with the Structure to open the next area.

Duke Magna Final Boss in Butcher’s Canyon Dungeon Throne and Liberty
This is the final Boss of the Dungeon! He is a challenging enemy with a few interesting mechanics. Duke Magna deals significant damage and requires fast reactions to survive.

These are his main attacks:
- He attacks with a swing in front of him, toward the player with aggro.
- He performs a vertical attack with his weapon in front of him.
- Does a charged AOE Fury Attack that you should Block.
- Summons Meteors to strike random players that are marked with a ground AOE. Move out of the AOE to avoid damage.
- Performs a fire AOE that you have to jump to avoid! A wide area AOE will close on him, then he will unleash it to deal damage. When you see the AOE closing on the Boss, jump to avoid it.
- He pulls your party to him and three rings of fire will appear in the area. One player cannot move. The rest should jump over the fire rings and get out of the area. Head to the two large red structures and interact with them. This will allow the player in the middle to move again. Get out of the area before he performs his large AOE attack. Anyone caught inside the attack will die.
- He pulls your party to him, summons an Orc Shapeshifter and three rings of fire will appear in the area again. Some of the area is filled with fire. The Shapeshifter turns one of the players into an explosive Sheep. That player cannot jump over the rings. You need to create a chain to pass the transformation from one player to the other and get everyone out of the area. Kill the Shapeshifter so you can use the blue ground area and remove the transformation.
- Duke Magna pulls your party again to him and summons three rings of fire. There is no Shapeshifter this time. Jump over the rings and interact with the Red Structures to release the player stuck in the middle.
