Throne and Liberty Housing Guide

Housing is a robust system in Throne and Liberty, that introduces a variety of new features and expands the Life Skills gameplay. This guide will show you everything you need to know about Housing in Throne and Liberty, from how to purchase and decorate your House to how to gather and process raw materials to turn them into beautiful Furniture.

How to Unlock Housing in Throne and Liberty

To unlock Housing, you need to complete first the extra Codex Entry “Home, Sweet Home“. This is basically an intro quest that will take you on a tour to Kastleton and Vienta Village(locations with available Houses at the moment) and show you the basics of the system. When you complete this Codex entry you will get your first House for free. A Basement at the location of your choice.

How to Purchase a House in Throne and liberty

There are three types of Houses in the game, Small, Medium and Large. There is also another type, Basement, that you can get for free once when you complete the intro quest. You can see the location of all available Houses on the map. You can then visit and preview them. It is possible to check the info of the House(Size, Storage Size, Cost, Conditions to buy it), Move your House to a new one or even enter the House to take a look around.

However you cannot buy any House you want immediately! Housing is based on a rating system, that requires you to decorate your House and increase your rating to be able to buy a new House or move to a bigger one. By increasing the Rating of your House you unlock Housing Achievements that give you the opportunity to buy more and bigger Houses.

How to Increase House Rating in Throne and Liberty

Every Character starts with one House and can buy up to four! To be able to buy the Best Houses in the game you need to increase your House Rating. This is easy to achieve by moving Furniture to the House Storage, which you can find in your “Manage My House” Page when you are inside your House. From there you can also choose who can visit your House.

Once you have moved Furniture to your House Storage you can also place them inside your House. However this will not have any further effect on your House Rating. When you own a House it is possible to Move to another, as long as you meet their requirements.

Gather and Process Housing Materials

Housing also introduces new raw materials, that you can gather and process to make your own furniture. You can see where you can gather various materials on your map. For example, logging areas will have trees you can chop to get logs. You can then visit the Furniture Workshop Crafting Table to process them. Processing takes real time but you can speed it up with the right item(Processing Time Reduction Voucher).

When you have enough processed materials, you can craft your favorite furniture and place them to your House. The actions of Gathering, Processing and Crafting Furniture introduce the following new Professions to Throne and Liberty:

• Logging
• Mining
• Fur Gathering
• Foraging
• Woodworking
• Forging
• Weaving
• Handcrafting
• Furniture Crafting

Advancing those professions, allows you to gather and process better materials, as well as craft better quality Furniture. By leveling up your Furniture Crafting skill, you can create more valuable furniture that increase your House Rating faster!

Furniture Workshop Merchant and Life Coins in Throne and Liberty

The Furniture Workshop Merchant is a special Merchant that sells Housing related items for Life Coins. You can earn Life Coins by completing Life Contract Quests, that you can buy from this Merchant. There is a limited number of quests you can buy every Week. This Merchant also sells Housing Purchase Permits, that are necessary to buy new Houses in Throne and liberty!
