Welcome to my Throne and Liberty PVP Gear acquisition Guide! This guide will show you how to get proper Gear for PVP in TL, as fast as possible, so you can be a lot more effective against other players sooner! PVP is a core aspect of Throne and Liberty that offers limitless fun if you are into this type of gameplay. But to maximize your efficiency and the fun you can get out of this play style, you will need to be properly geared.
What is the Best Gear for PVP in Throne and Liberty?
Epic Quality Armor and Weapons are the best you can use for PVP Gameplay in Throne and Liberty! However those are hard to get and even harder to unlock their Traits. To get the Best in Slot(BiS) gear for your character and role will take time. To Fully unlock and level up their Traits will take even more time. This is why getting lower Gear and unlocking their Traits, is the best approach to PVP in the game, at least until you can get your Epic Gear ready.
A +9 Blue(Rare) Item with your favorite Traits unlocked, will be far superior than a +6 or even a +9 Epic(Purple) item with barely any Trait on it! This is because Traits is King in Throne and Liberty. The extra Stats you unlock to your gear with Traits, significantly boost your character and your capabilities in PVP but also PVE Gameplay.
How to Get Full Traits on Throne and Liberty Gear?
There are a few ways you can follow to unlock Full Traits on a Blue Weapon or Armor piece fast! These are:
- Special Equipment Crafter
- Rare Special Weapon Selection Chest
- Abyssal Contract Tokens Farm
1. Craft Items with the Special Equipment Crafter
The first method you can follow is visiting Arless to craft Blue Weapons! Arless is a Wandering Special Equipment Crafter in Throne and Liberty, that offers a variety of Weapons you can craft. You can find him walking between the Golden Rye Pastures area and Vienta Village. To craft Weapons with Arless you do not need to own their Lithograph, you can craft them by using 10x Death Soul Shards items instead! You can farm those Shards in the first Two Floors of the Syleus’s Abyss Open World Dungeon easily, which makes this method great to Get Full Traits for your Weapon fast, for Solo players as well.
2. Rare Special Weapon Selection Chest
If you are part of a Level 10 Guild and above, you can use your Guild Coins to buy Rare Special Weapon Selection Chests from the Guild Merchant! These Chests also offer a variety of Blue Weapons you can get, that you can then use to unlock your favorite Traits. Buy multiple Chests with Guild Coins and get the same weapon from all of them. If you are lucky you will get the Traits you want fast. This is the fastest method actually to get Full Traits on your Weapon but requires you to be part of a leveled up Guild.
3. Abyssal Contract Tokens Farm
Finally you can use your Abyssal Contract Tokens to farm appropriate Blue(Rare) gear from Open World Dungeons in Throne and Liberty! Identify the gear you wish to get, then set out to farm it inside the appropriate Dungeon. Farming Blue Gear is overall easier and less time consuming than farming Epic gear. So after a few hours of farming you will have multiple pieces of the same gear with a variety of Traits to choose from. This method ensures that you can unlock Traits for your Weapons but also Armor and Accessories in order to boost your offense and defense in PVP!
When you have unlocked your Blue Gear Traits and are happy with your progression, you can focus on getting Epic Gear and working on their Traits!
