What is the Special Equipment Crafter in Throne and Liberty?
The Special Equipment Crafter is a type of wandering NPC Crafters in Throne and Liberty. To get their available Weapons, you will have to find where they are first. There are three Special Crafters in Throne and Liberty:
- Arless
- Grudran
- Crandace
Each Special Crafter follows a specific route in one of the available Continents of the game. They also offer you the chance to create unique types of weapons, that serve a different purpose.
Where to Find Arless in Throne and Liberty?
Arless is the first Special Crafter you will encounter in the game and also the most important! This is because he can help you craft Rare(Blue) Weapons early and get Full Weapon Traits faster like this. You can find Arless walking between Vienta Village and the Golden Rye Pastures area.
His Weapons offer a damage bonus against Undead enemies, which makes them great to fight Undead in Open World Dungeons like Syleus’s Abyss! To craft them you will need a Lithograph but it is possible to use ten(10) Death Soul Shards as an alternative. You can farm this item in the first two floors of Syleus’s Abyss, which is also what makes crafting weapons with Arless more effective.
Where to Find Grudran in Throne and Liberty?
Grudran is another Wandering Crafter in Throne and Liberty, that makes Weapons with a Damage Bonus against Constructs. To make his weapons you will need a Lithogaph. This crafter does not offer an alternative like Arless. You can find Grudran walking between Sanctuary Oasis and The Raging Wilds area.
Where to Find Crandace in Throne and Liberty?
Finally, you can find Crandace in the Talandre continent, walking around the Black Anvil Forge area. Crandace creates Obsidian Weapons(Black Anvil Weapons), that offer a boost to your Sollant earnings and Weapon Mastery EXP! To create his Weapons you will need Obsidian Pieces and Abyssal Aggregates. You can get Obsidian pieces by defeating enemies in the Black Anvil Forge area, while Abyssal Aggregate drops from enemies inside Open World Dungeons(level 50 and above).
Crandace can also appear inside the Underground Tunnel in Herba Village! You can find him walking the passage back and forth!
