Throne and Liberty Weapon Mastery
Welcome to my Weapon Mastery Guide for Throne and Liberty! The Mastery of your Weapons allows you to unlock additional effects and maximize your efficiency in combat. Every Weapon offers a unique Mastery chart with a variety of Nodes you can unlock. Picking the right Nodes for your TL Build and the role you wish to fulfill, will enhance your performance in combat and let you enjoy the game more!
Weapon Mastery Evolution
The Original Weapon Mastery System offered three Branches for each weapon. Each Branch had a number of passive skills you could unlock that could help you become better in Offense, Defense or Support! Every Weapon had a maximum of twenty(20) Mastery Points you could earn and allocate to your favorite passive skills.
The New Weapon Mastery introduces a more complex but also more flexible system, that allows you to focus on specific areas you wish to enhance.
How Weapon Mastery Works in Throne and Liberty
Weapon Mastery in Throne and Liberty is now Built around Nodes. There are four types of Nodes available:
- Attack
- Defense
- Support
- Tactics
Each Node unlocks a sequence of Masteries(Passives) that enhance their appropriate type. Nodes are further divided in four(4) Quality Tiers:
- Common
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Epic
To unlock Uncommon and above Nodes you will have to invest Mastery Points to the previous Tier. For example, if you wish to unlock an Uncommon Node, you will have to allocate 30 Points to Common Nodes which belong in the previous Tier. To unlock Epic Nodes you will have to invest at least eighty(80) Mastery Points to the weapon. Epic Nodes are limited to two(2) per Weapon.
Each Weapon can earn a maximum of 200 Mastery Points, that you can allocate to a variety of nodes. Unlocking New Nodes costs Sollant and special materials(Common Nodes only cost Sollant). You can upgrade Nodes up to level 10. Some Nodes might introduce negative effects as well, in order to maintain balance.
How to Level Up Weapon Mastery in Throne and Liberty
You can level up Weapon Mastery for your equipped Weapons by farming enemies in Abyss Open World Dungeons. You can also use Weapon Master Seal to level up the Weapon Mastery of your favorite Weapons. Weapon Master Seal is a special item that replaces Training Dew and you can earn it from clearing Dungeons but also completing Contracts! It is possible to swap the Weapon Mastery Points between two Weapons, if you have the appropriate Weapon Mastery Conversion Book.
What are Weapon Mastery Skills in Throne and Liberty?
Mastery Skills are special Passives that you unlock based on your overall Mastery Points(from every Weapon). There are twelve(12) available Mastery Skills(4 Uncommon, 4 Rare and 4 Epic) you unlock when you reach certain Mastery Points intervals. You can have up to four(4) active at all times. The Mastery Skill Slots, where you equip them, unlock at 130-260-390-520 total Mastery Points.
Throne and Liberty Weapon Mastery Summary
Weapon Mastery is a core system in Throne and Liberty, that further enhances your performance in Combat. This system allows you to earn Mastery Points and use them to unlock a variety of Nodes that enhance your Attack, Defense, Support and Tactics. Nodes are further divided in Tiers, Common-Uncommon-Rare-Epic. To unlock advanced Nodes you will have to invest Points to the previous Tier. You can level up your Weapon Mastery by farming Abyss areas or using Weapon Master Seal items.
