Rancorwood Dungeon Guide
Best Rancorwood Dungeon Guide for Throne and Liberty! This guide will show you how to defeat the Dungeon’s Bosses and complete it successfully.
What is Rancorwood in Throne and Liberty?
Rancorwood is a Level 55 Dungeon, that offers great rewards to players. An original Dungeon that does not resemble anything you have seen so far in Throne and Liberty. To access it you need a minimum Combat Power of 3500. Rancorwood was initially known as Forest of Grudge!
Rancorwood Dungeon Bosses
There are only two Bosses inside the Dungeon, King Khanzaisin, which is the Final Boss and Gugbarg. Before you can reach those two though, you will have to defeat a few special enemies. After you enter the Dungeon, you can skip almost every enemy in front of you and only attack those with a special monster mark above them.

When you defeat all those enemies, Broktu will appear. Broktu is just another special, named enemy that you can defeat easily. When you kill him, the Geyser near him will activate. Stand on it, and make your way on the top to the burning bridge. The Geyser grants you a buff that allows you to put out the fire on the bridge. Make your way through the Bridge to fight the first Boss of the Dungeon, Gugbarg.

How to Defeat Gugbarg Boss in Rancorwood
Gugbarg is an easy enemy! He only has a few plain mechanics that pose little to no threat. His main attacks are:
- Normal attacks to whoever has aggro.
- Fury attack that you can block. This attack adds a molten AOE to the ground that deals Damage over Time to your group. There is nothing you can do to avoid it. Just make sure that you can outheal the damage.
- Ground AOE. The Boss will summon AOEs around him, that deal damage to anyone standing on them.
- He will also summon totems that you have to destroy as soon as possible.
When you defeat this Boss, proceed in the dungeon and find Grok! Grok is another named enemy with no special mechanics. When you kill him the final Boss area unlocks and you can fight King Khanzaisin.

How to Defeat King Khanzaisin Rancorwood Dungeon Boss in Throne and Liberty
King Khanzaisin is a tough boss with a few deadly mechanics. Defeating him will require good party co ordination and executing mechanics flawlessly. He is standing on top of a wooden arena divided in slices. Below the arena there are four Geysers that you will have to use during the fight. These are his main moves:
- Normal attacks against whoever has aggro.
- Wrath attack against whoever has aggro, that sends a fire wave toward him. This is usually the tank, which should turn the Boss away from the rest of the group.
- Fire Projectile attacks. This happens only if the Tank is not in melee range of the Boss.
- Fire Ground AOEs. Some of the players will get a Ground Fire AOE underneath them. Get out of the area to avoid damage.
- Summons Meteor. King will mark and immobilize the farthest player. After a couple moments a meteor will strike them. To reduce damage, another player should stand next to that player. When the Boss is below 50% Health, the Meteor mechanics happens twice.
- Meteor Fire! After the meteor lands, the slice will catch up fire. Standing there will cause heavy damage.
- Wrath Attacks! The Boss will perform three Wrath Attacks and a Fury Attack in a row. Dodge the first Wrath Attack and avoid the other two by not standing on the affected areas. For the final Fury Attack, get to the outer area of the arena and Block. Blocking allows you to jump down and go to the Geysers. Stand on a Geyser and fly back up to the arena. This will also give you a Buff that allows you to put out fires.
- Fire Spreading. The fire on a slice will eventually spread out to its adjacent slices. To stop this, put out the Fire with the Geyser buff you got.
- Red Orb. When all DPS and Healer jump down to get the Geyser Buff, the Tank(or the last player on the arena) will get a Red Orb on them. After some time the Orb will explode and destroy the slice you are standing on. You can avoid this by jumping from the platform, so the explosion will not destroy a slice. At least one player has to be in the arena at all times or else the Boss will reset. So if you are the only player on the arena and have the Red Orb, it is better to stay put.
