The Best Social Traits in Starfield! Which Traits will give you an advantage when talking to the various Starfield factions. Traits in Starfield are optional characteristics you can choose for your Character. They offer a significant advantage that will help you follow a specific play style early in the game, as well as a disadvantage, that you can later remove however.

Traits might be optional but they can help you pursue a certain path in Starfield. Every character can have up to three(3) Traits. Social Traits are traits that offer additional dialogue options when talking to the various Starfield Factions!

What are the Best Social Traits in Starfield

The Best Social Traits in Starfield, are Traits that offer additional dialogue options when talking to the various Factions in the game. While most Traits can potentially help you in dialogues, certain Traits will offer specific options when negotiating with the in-game factions. However picking one of those Traits will lock you from picking other Traits of the same category. You can have only one Religion or Faction specific Trait at a time. Below you can find the Best Traits for Social interactions in Starfield!

1. United Colonies Native

A United Colonies citizen with access to special dialogue options for the United Colonies Faction and more rewards from their missions! Great Trait if you wish to join the United Colonies early in the game. Picking this Trait locks you from also picking the Freestar Collective and Neon Street Rat Traits.

2. Freestar Collective Settler

If becoming a Space Cowboy is more your thing, then the Freestar Collective is a great option that will also offer more dialogue options for the Freestar Collective and more rewards from their missions! Picking this Trait locks you from also picking the United Colonies Native and Neon Street Rat Traits.

3. Neon Street Rat

For a more shady play through you can always join the mega-corporations of Neon! Picking the Neon Street Rat Trait will offer dialogue options for this faction and more rewards from their missions! Picking this Trait locks you from also picking the United Colonies Native and Freestar Collective Settle Traits.

4. Raised Enlightened

One of the Religious Traits in Starfield. Raised Enlightened will offer membership to the Enlightened church and access to a special chest full of items in the House of the Enlightened in New Atlantis. Picking this Trait locks you from also picking the Raised Universal and Serpent’s Embrace Traits.

5. Raised Universal

Raised Universal makes you a member of the Sanctum Universum and offers access to a special chest full of items in the Sanctum Universum in New Atlantis. Picking this Trait locks you from also picking the Raised Enlightened and Serpent’s Embrace Traits.

6. Serpent’s Embrace

Serpent’s Embrace makes you a worshiper of the Great Serpent! Grav jumping provides a temporary boost to health and oxygen, but health and oxygen are lowered if you don’t continue jumping regularly. Picking this Trait locks you from also picking the Raised Enlightened and Raised Universal Traits.

Picking one or two of the above Traits will offer more dialogue options and Social interactions when talking to specific Factions in Starfield. They might cause you trouble when interacting with other, not so friendly to them, factions though.
