ESO Gates of Oblivion Celebration Event

The Gates of Oblivion Celebration is an Event in ESO, that celebrates the Blackwood Chapter and the Gates of Oblivion story line! The Event begins on November 16th at 10AM EST and will run until November 28th at 10AM EST. To participate you must own or have access to the Blackwood, Deadlands, Flames of Oblivion or Waking Flame DLC!

Introductory Quest in Gates of Oblivion Celebration Event

You can accept the Event’s introductory Quest “Burdensome Beasts” from the Crown Store for free. Find Plokun in the Blackwood zone to begin the quest. You do not need to complete this introductory quest to be able to earn the Event’s rewards!

Event Rewards for Gates of Oblivion Celebration Event

While the Event is live you can earn two(2) Glorious Reward Boxes every day! One from completing your first Daily Quest in Blackwood or Deadlands zones, or from the first Rockgrove Trial Weekly quest you complete. You can earn the second by looting your first FINAL Boss in any of the Flames of Ambition and Waking Flame Dungeons! The Dungeons that participate in the Event are:

Black Drake Villa(Flames of Ambition DLC)
The Cauldron(Flames of Ambition DLC)
Red Petal Bastion(Waking Flame DLC)
The Dread Cellar(Waking Flame DLC)

It is also possible to earn regular reward boxes from activities like:

Defeating Delve, Overworld Bosses in Blackwood and Deadlands zones
Defeating Dungeon Bosses(in the above four dungeons only)
from chests, safeboxes, Psijic Portals, crates, Thieves Troves
from harvesting resource nodes

The Boxes can contain various rewards but Glorious Boxes will offer a better chance to reward you with better items. The potential rewards are:

Crafting Materials
treasures
Blackwood/Deadlands/DLC Dungeons(the above four only) motifs
Overland Sets pieces from Blackwood or Deadlands
furnishing recipes
treasure maps or survey reports
Companion Gear
NEW Y’ffre’s Fallen-Wood Armor Style pages

Daily Quests in Gates of Oblivion Celebration Event

There are several Daily quests you can accept in the Blackwood and Deadlands zones! Completing those quests will reward you with Glorious and Regular Reward Boxes as well as Event Tickets.

Blackwood Daily Quests

There are three repeatable quests you can find in the Blackwood zone. Two are available in the capital of the zone, Leyawiin. You can get the third in the Rockgrove Trial. In Leyawiin Britta Silanus will ask you to defeat one of the six available Overworld Bosses in the zone. Deetum-Jas on the other hand will send you to one of the six Delves, found in Blackwood, to complete a task. To begin the Rockgrove Trial Weekly quest talk to Dust-on-Scales inside the Trial area. Deadlands Daily Quests

There are two Daily quests you can accept in the Fargrave City District from Luna Beriel and Vaveli Indavel. Luna Beriel offers quests more suitable for solo adventurers, like completing easy tasks in the zone’s two Delves or Overworld. Vaveli will send you to kill the two Overworld Bosses of the zone. Event Tickets and Impresario during Gates of Oblivion Celebration Event

While the Event is live you can earn two(2) Event Tickets every day by completing one of the following activities:

First Daily Quest in Blackwood
First Daily Quest in Deadlands
Weekly Rockgrove Trial Quest
Looting the final Boss in Flames of Ambition or Waking Flame Dungeons

With those Event Tickets you can buy from the Impresario:

All three Passion Dancer Blossom Pet Fragments
The first two Hoardunter Ursauk Mount fragments
Group Repair Kits
Companion Guild Commendations
NEW Y’ffre’s Fallen-Wood Style Pages(Bound)
