Scribing introduces a variety of new Skills, called Grimoires, to ESO that change the way you can play but also Build your characters. These skills are customizable with various Scripts that alter their main function and secondary effects. What are the Best Tank Scribing Skills in ESO?

The abilities below will help you aggro enemies, pull them to you and even boost your Ultimate Generation. The flexibility they add to your gameplay makes them an excellent tool for every Tank Build in ESO. Their configuration is just an example of what you can make with the available Scripts. These are the best Scribing Skills for Tanking in The Elder Scrolls Online.

1. Leashing Throw Scribing Skill

Leashing Throw is an One Hand and Shield ability that pulls enemies to you while healing you and boosting the heals you receive! An amazing ability for every Tank that adds extra Crowd Control capabilities but also increases survivability. To create this ability combine the following Scripts:

  • Pull(Focus)
  • Sage’s Remedy(Signature)
  • Vitality or any other Script(Affix)

2. Leashing Knife Scribing Skill

Similar to Leashing Throw, Leashing Knife is also pulling enemies to you while debuffing enemies and granting you a Damage Shield! A more flexible Crowd Control ability that Tanks can use to debuff enemies and protect themselves with a Shield. To create this ability combine the following Scripts:

  • Warmage’s Defense(Signature)

3. Heroic Torch Scribing Skill

Heroic Torch is a valuable support skill that generates Ultimate! This skill will not only boost your Ultimate Generation and potential because of this but also offer Damage Reduction and a boost to the Healing you receive. To create this ability combine the following Scripts:

  • Generate Ultimate(Focus)
  • Gladiator’s Tenacity(Signature)
  • Vitality or any other Script(Affix)

4. Goading Throw Scribing Skill

With Goading Throw you can get an additional ranged taunt to manage enemies easier. The extra Heal it provides but also the boost to heals you receive will make your life as a Tank easier. To create this ability combine the following Scripts:

A Two Handed Weapon ability that can aggro enemies and assist with Tanking! Goading Smash taunts, deals damage and heals you based on it, as well as increases the heals you receive! A flexible skill that you can use as a Tank to aggro enemies or control the field. To create this ability combine the following Scripts:

  • Taunt(Focus)
  • Leeching Thirst(Signature)
  • Vitality or any other Script(Affix)

6. Fortifying Banner Scribing Skill

The Fortifying Banner Skill reduces damage taken for your party and is a great support ability you can use as a Tank! A toggle able skill that you can activate at any time. To create this ability combine the following Scripts:

  • Mitigation(Focus)
  • Warmage’s Defense(Signature)
