How to Switch Your Faction in Soulframe
It is possible to change Factions in Soulframe and experience everything the game has to offer very easily. Switching your Faction allows you to gain access to the other Enclaves and eventually earn the unique rewards every Faction offers.
How to Change Factions
When you first start the game you will get the option to pick your Starter Pact! By selecting a Pact you will also become part of a certain Faction. There are three Factions you can join in Soulframe:
- Alca’s Children
- Kith of King
- Silent Rose
Do not worry though, you can still explore the other two factions if you wish. The method to do this is quite simple and follows three easy steps:
- Craft the totem of the faction you wish to join.
- Equip the Totem.
- Head to the Faction’s Enclave and talk to their Leader.
1. Craft the Totem of the Faction you wish to join
The first step to join a new Faction, is to craft their Totem. When you pick a Pact at the start of the game, you automatically receive the Totem of the corresponding faction. But in order to get the Totems of other Factions, you will have to find their fragments and craft them. This is where you can find their fragments:
- Medallion of Mora(Kith of Kings) – Undercity Chests
- Rose’s Bodkin(Silent Rose) – Ode Strongboxes
- Sproutfolk Seed(Alca’s Children) – Glades Chests
You will also need a Sacred Shimmer! The only way to acquire those is by buying them from your current Faction. You need to be at least Rank 3 before you can buy a Sacred Shimmer. Once you have the materials, craft the new Totem.
2. Equip the Totem
Wait for the Totem to be ready, then equip it. With the Totem equipped, head to the Enclave of the Faction you wish to join.
3. Head to the Faction’s Enclave and talk to their Leader
When you get to the enclave of the new Faction, talk to their Leader. Pick the “I will join/pledge” dialogue option to join their Faction. You can now start accepting Tales from your new Faction and earn standing with them.
You can repeat the process whenever you want and enjoy every available Faction in Soulframe! When you switch factions, you retain your progress with the previous one. So you can return and continue building up your standing with them later if you wish.
