Courage is the primary Virtue of the Oscelda Melee Build! By using the Mora’s Beast Virtue Prism or another prism that focuses on Courage, you increase the damage of your melee weapon and defeat enemies faster.

- Bestone: Petrifies enemies and allows you to deal more damage to them.
- Elderbloom: Massive Heal skill.
- Phantom Flock: Summons Birds to attack and stagger enemies.
The Oscelda Passive abilities offer Crowd Control and assist with better skills cooldown.
- Tendril: Chance to freeze enemies that attack you.
- Vernal Pool: Cooldown reduction for all abilities while standing on water.

How to Play Oscelda Melee Build
As a melee based Build, you will have to get closer to your target and hack them with your weapon to deal damage. It is possible to defeat enemies by throwing your weapon to them but most of the time you will be fighting in melee range. Use Bestone to immobilize enemies, approach them and deal massive damage while they are petrified.
Cast Phantom Flock to distract targets and build up their stagger. This skill is valuable against tougher enemies, like the Agari World Bosses. Finally cast Elderbloom to get back up to full health with its massive AOE Heal!

Best Weapons
You can use a variety of melee weapons with the Build. From Greatswords and Polearms to Long and Short Blades! The Best Weapon for the Oscelda Melee Build is Marrow’s Bane! A powerful Long Blade, attuned to Courage with good Smite chance. Precklies is a nice Sidearm you can use. Unlock the following Long Blade Combat Arts:
