Throne and Liberty Runes Guide
Welcome to my Runes Guide for Throne and Liberty! Runes are a Growth system that help you enhance your items and become stronger in PVE and PVP Gameplay. This Guide will show you how your can use the Rune Book in Throne and Liberty but also where you can get them from.
What is the Rune Book in Throne and Liberty?
The Rune Book is a special Tab in your options, where you can store your unlocked Runes! Obtaining Runes now unlocks and levels up a single unified entry in the Rune Book, that you can assign to multiple items. Chaos Runes can still be applied to only one item at a time though. In the Rune Book you can search, favorite and filter through the list of your unlocked Runes. The Rune Book UI shows you all available Runes, as well as the equippable items in your inventory.

How Runes Work in Throne and Liberty
Runes are Growth items that you can place in your Weapons and Accessories in Throne and Liberty! Epic(Purple) Grade Weapons and Accessories offer Rune Sockets, where you can place the Runes you obtain in the game. Before you can place a Rune on one of the available Sockets, you need to unlock it!
How to Unlock Rune Sockets?
You can unlock Rune Sockets with Sollant inside your Rune Book! Click on the Rune Socket you wish to unlock and pick the type of Rune(Attack, Defense or Support) you want there. Pay the required amount of Sollant to unlock the Socket. After that you can place Runes of the same type on the Socket. You can even reset Sockets and change them to another type by paying a specific amount of Sollant again.

Rune Management and Synergy List in Throne and Liberty
Once you have opened all Sockets, you can start placing your Runes. Each Rune also has a certain type, Attack, Defense or Support, which means that you can place them in an appropriate Socket. Runes create Synergies, which you can see in the Rune Management tab. By placing the appropriate Runes in the right order, as shown in the Synergy list, you unlock new bonuses for your Weapon or Accessory. So if you wish to unlock the Dexterity 4 and Attack Speed +3.5% Synergy, you need to place the Runes shown next to the bonus in the right order.

Runes have a chance to level up as well! Every Rune you collect has a progress bar. When you obtain Runes with the same level, the progress bar moves and when it fills your rune will gain a level.
What is a Chaos Rune in Throne and Liberty?
Chaos Rune is a special type of Rune that you can place in any Socket! You can only have one Chaos Rune equipped in an item though. Chaos Runes do not level up but come with higher stats. Additionally Chaos Runes impose a Reduction Stat, that reduces certain abilities.
Where to Get Runes in Throne and Liberty
The main Source of Runes in Throne and liberty is the Challenge Dimensional Circle. You can get Runes reliably as a reward by completing challenges of Dungeons.

But you can also acquire Runes from a variety of sources, including your Weekly Missions, farming Abyss Token regions(Open World Dungeons) or as a reward for completing Dynamic Events in Throne and Liberty! Every time you complete a Dynamic Event, you receive a Rune Chance Bundle that contains a variety of Runes.
Additionally you can also use the Material Transmutation System to convert your unwanted Runes into better ones! Runes are a Growth System in Throne and Liberty that help you become stronger.
