Mythic Sets or Mythic Items are powerful ability altering Sets that offer a powerful effect to their wearer. To counter that effect they usually come with a significant drawback as well.
What are the Best DPS Mythic Sets in ESO?
Mythic Sets are one piece items that are available as Body Armor or Jewelry. They offer a great buff to their wearer but also come with a significant drawback for balance. You can obtain them in the game only through the Treasure Hunting system of Antiquities! To gain access to the Antiquities System, you must own the Greymoor DLC!
Every Mythic Set consists of five fragments. To find those fragments you need first to locate their Leads, Scry them and then excavate the fragments in the appropriate zone. Leads for Mythic Items are of Master difficulty so in order to scry them your Scrying Skills need to be at least Level 7 and have the Antiquarian Insight IV Passive unlocked. 1. Shattered Paths Signet
Shattered Paths Signet is a powerful Mythic Set that deals massive status effects damage to Monsters! A PVE only Set that can boost your overall DPS and help you complete every PVE content.
2. Velothi Ur-Mage’s Amulet
The Velothi Ur-Mage’s Amulet is another strong Mythic Set that boosts damage against monsters, grants Minor Force and increases Critical Damage done at the cost of dealing almost no Light and Heavy Attack damage! This is a great Set for Arcanist Builds that mostly use Fatecarver to deal damage!
3. Huntsman’s Warmask
Huntsman’s Warmask is a Head piece that marks enemies when you deal damage with a Bash or Fully-Charged Heavy Attack. You deal more damage to marked enemies but reduced damage to other enemies. This is an amazing Set for Heavy Attack DPS Builds that do not want to limit themselves in one only Bar!
4. Harpooner’s Wading Kilt
The Harpooner’s Wading Kilt is a strong Mythic Item, that can boost your Critical Chance and Critical Damage. Taking direct damage reduces your Critical Chance and Damage though, which makes the Item better in stationary fights and for parses. This makes it one of the best Mythic Sets for DPS Builds in the game!
5. Oakensoul Ring
The Oakensoul Ring is a great option for One Bar Builds since it provides a variety of great Buffs at the cost of not being able to swap bars! Oakensoul will be mostly useful to Heavy Attack based Builds, thanks to its Empower Buff. However Light Attack Weaving Builds can use it as well.
6. Mora’s Whispers
Mora’s Whispers is a great alternative to Harpooner’s Wading Kilt. It can boost your Critical Chance but this depends on how many books of Shalidor’s Library you have collected with each character.
7. Thrassian Stranglers
Thrassian Stranglers is a good alternative for DPS but has more severe drawbacks than the other options. It can boost your Damage at the cost of reduced Health and damage shields effectiveness.
8. Rakkhat’s Voidmantle
A good set for Heavy Attack Builds. Rakkhat’s Voidmantle increases damage with Heavy Attacks and reduces damage with Light Attacks. Light Attacks now restore resources and they function like a Heavy Attack Resource restore.
