ESO High Seas of Tamriel Event

The High Seas of Tamriel is a brand new event in ESO that lets players experience exciting ship to ship battles and explore underwater locations. A refreshing event in The Elder Scrolls Online that launches along with Update 51 on September 30 and runs until October 14. While the event is live you can earn a variety of rewards including Trade Bars, motifs, outfit Style Pages, a mount and much more!

How to Participate

To participate in the event claim the “High Seas of Tamriel” quest from the crown store for free or travel to the Gold Coast and speak to the Ghost Baron Captain. Complete his short introductory quest to unlock the event’s daily quest nearby.

Event Daily Quest

The event’s daily quest is divided into two parts, Raising the Riotous Redress and Bounty of the Abecean Sea. During Raising the Riotous Redress, you will battle an enemy ship while defending your own vessel from boarding enemies. After successfully defending your ship, collect your loot and start the Bounty of the Abecean Sea.

In this part you can explore underwater areas and fight enemies under the protection of a bubble. If you lose your bubble, head to the closest clam and stand inside to regain it. Explore the underwater area, defeat enemies, collect the available treasure, then return to the surface to complete the quest.

High Seas of Tamriel Rewards

The first event quest you complete every day rewards you with a golden Deep Plunder Box. Every subsequent quest gets you an epic Deep Plunder Box. These boxes can contain various items including:

  • Gold
  • Motifs
  • Weapon Style Pages for the Abecean Privateer style
  • Leads
  • Materials
  • Furnishings
  • Fragments for the Suncleft Grotto Ornaug Mount and more!

Gold boxes have a higher chance of containing the event’s rarest rewards. By performing tasks in the event you can also get antiquity leads for nautical items.

Trade Bars and Impresario

The first Golden Deep Plunder Box you open each day also awards 300 Trade Bars. You can use those to buy from the Impresario:

  • Fragments for the Roseblood Bat Pet and its morphs
  • Fragments for the Grotto of Desires House
  • Weapon Style Pages for the Abecean Privateer style
  • Group Repair Kits
  • Companion Guild Commendations

From the Impresario’s Assistant, Philius Dormier, you can also buy:

Finally the Indrik Vendor will have available for purchase:

  • Nascent Indrik Mount Feathers
