ESO Naj-Caldeesh Dungeon

Naj-Caldeesh is a 4-man Dungeon, located in the zone of Solstice in ESO! The Dungeon is available with the “Feast of Shadows” content pack, along with Black Gem Foundry. By completing the Dungeon, you can get four new Armor Sets and unlock a variety of achievements. This guide will show you how to defeat all Bosses inside the Dungeon.

All Naj-Caldeesh Dungeon Bosses in ESO

There are three Bosses as well as three versions of the same puzzle inside the Dungeon. You can find the Bosses by simply following the main path. The puzzles are more hidden and require all four players to solve them. The Dungeon Bosses are:

• Poxito
• Voskrona Stonehulk Poxito
• Talen-lah and Bar-Sakka

How to Defeat Poxito in Naj-Caldeesh

Poxito is the first Boss of this Dungeon and can be a quite challenging foe. The room where you fight her is full of pressure plates on the ground. When you step on them, they activate traps, so be careful. These are her main moves:

• Summons undead minions to assist in combat.
• Summons Bone Effigies that deal AOE damage and summon more undead minions.
• Draws power from Bone effigies and unleashes a deadly AOE. Destroy the effigies to reduce her damage.
• Conal attack in front of her. The tank should face her away from the rest of the group.

When you defeat her, Poxito will take the form of a phantom Skull and move to the next area.

How to Defeat Voskrona Stonehulk Poxito in Naj-Caldeesh

Poxito is the second Boss of the Dungeon as well. She will now take over a Voskrona Stonehulk armor and fight you with new powers. These are her main moves:

• Flamethrower attack that follows whoever has aggro. The tank should face her away from the rest of your group.
• Summons a Dragonknight Standard Ultimate-like skill that deals aoe damage. Stay out of its radius.
• Immobilizes a player and attacks them. You can break free.
• Activates the Voskrona Guardians that are around the area to attack you. The Guardians use a variety of elemental attacks against you and when they die they emit an aura. Poxito and Guardians are invulnerable when standing inside that aura. She will keep reviving them during the fight.
• Poxito leaves her Voskrona body and stands in the middle of the room as a Skull. While in this state, she is invulnerable and attacks with a room-wide AOE multiple times.

How to Defeat Talen-Lah and Bar-Sakka in Naj-Caldeesh ESO

Talen-Lah and Bar-Sakka is the final Boss of the Dungeon. These are their main attacks:

• Bar-Sakka moves in a circle around the room, leaving AOE on the ground.
• Talen-Lah moves in a straight line, attacking anyone in front of him. His movement fires ground AOEs around him.
• Talen-Lah summons undead minions to assist in fight.
• Talen-Lah fires “meteor” like attacks that leave an AOE on the ground where they land.
• Bar-Sakka occasionally fires boulders around the area.
• Talen-Lah opens a portal on the ground and undead minions come out of it.
• At around 80% and 40% Health, Talen-Lah leaves the area and Bar-Sakka attacks your group.
• Bar-Sakka does a large AOE attack, as well as a conal attack in front of him at this point.
• (Veteran Difficulty only)Talen-Lah summons two shadow versions of him, that slam their staff on the ground and deal damage to players.

How to Solve the Naj-Caldeesh Puzzle in ESO

There are three versions of the same puzzle inside this Dungeon. You can find one on each map of Naj-Caldeesh. To access the area for the first and third map puzzle, two players must stand on pressure plates. You can see the location of the plates on the map pictures in this guide.

The entrance to the second map puzzle is open but somewhat hidden. Which makes it easy to miss it, if you are not aware of its existence.

The puzzle is rather easy. Your group will have to play correctly an Argonian musical instrument. All players must stand on a Pedal Pad and interact with it at the right time. Hit the pedal when the sound wave in front of you is closing to the wall(green mark). Do this in every map until the song ends and you will unlock three buffs. These buffs are:

• Strength of the Ancients: Increases Weapon and Spell Damage.
• Stone-Stored Energies: Increases Magicka and Stamina Recovery.
• Borrowed Vitality: Increases Max Health and reduces damage taken.

Completing all three puzzles, also unlocks the “Temple Hero” achievement!

Armor Sets in Naj-Caldeesh Dungeon ESO

There are four Armor Sets you can farm inside this Dungeon. One of each weight and a Monster Set. The Naj-Caldeesh Sets are:

• Xanmeer Spellweaver, Light Armor Set
• Tools of the Trapmaster, Medium Armor Set
• Stonehulk Domination, Heavy Armor Set
• Bar-Sakka, Monster Set Head(Final Boss, Veteran difficulty only)
