ESO Rimegales Guide
Rimegales is one of the available types of Dynamic Encounters in ESO. You can find them in the eastern regions of Skyrim, and are available with Update 52 and beyond!
How Rimegales Work
Rimegales are Dynamic Encounters that appear in The Rift and Eastmarch on a regular schedule. In The Rift, they arrive every hour on the hour, while in Eastmarch, the event starts on the half hour.
When a Rimegale is active it overwrites all Dark Anchors in the zone. To complete them successfully, you need to complete three simple steps:
- Build and light all Bonfires.
- Defeat the Rime Giants.
- Destroy the Rimegale Spear.
1. Build and light all Bonfires
There are several bonfires around the area. Collect the logs nearby and deliver them to the bonfires to build them. Once a bonfire is complete, interact with it to light it up. Do the same with all other bonfires around to proceed to the next step.
2. Defeat the Rime Giants
Once all bonfires are lit, several Rime Giants will appear. Defeat them all to complete this step. These giants are boss like enemies with different abilities depending on the weapon they use.
3. Destroy the Rimegale Spear
When you defeat all Rime Giants, the Rimegale Spear in the middle of the Dark Anchor will become vulnerable. Destroy it to complete the event. Once the Spear is destroyed, a large reward chest spawns and you can loot it for a variety of rewards, including Gold, Item Sets and other valuable rewards!
While the event is active, several enemies will spawn around the area and try to stop you from completing the necessary objectives. There is also a time limit, so you need to complete everything before the event expires.
Conclusion
Rimegales offer an interesting new approach to Dynamic Encounters in ESO, combining simple objectives, challenging enemies, and worthwhile rewards!
