How to Unlock Tanlorin Companion in ESO
Tanlorin and Zerith Var were introduced to ESO with Update 44 and are available for purchase from the Crown Store or free if you are an ESO Plus Subscriber. To unlock Tanlorin as a Companion you will have to complete their “The Garland Ring” introductory Quest first. To begin the Quest, find Tanlorin in the Auridon zone, right outside Vulkhel Guard.

As a half Dragonknight, Tanlorin make a good Tank Companion! They have access to a few nice shields and self heals, that allow them to taunt and hold aggro with ease. Against tougher enemies however, they will need support and heals to survive. Equip a full set of Heavy Armor to boost survivability and defense. Use a combination of Bolstered and Quickened pieces for reduced damage taken and better Ability cooldowns.
