ESO New Companions
Tanlorin and Zerith-Var are two amazing New Companions that will help you achieve your goals in ESO and enjoy Tamriel more from Update 44 and beyond! They will join the group of the other existing ESO Companions and will help you tackle every threat in the game with success. They both have their unique Perks, Races and Class to offer. Unlike previous Chapters, these two new Companions are not available as part of Gold Road!
How to Get Tanlorin Companion in ESO
Tanlorin is a High Elf Companion with a couple of twists! They are the first non-binary Companion with a mix of Class Skills! Tanlorin is a Dragonknight, Soul Magic Hybrid Companion that offers a unique play style. A Thief Oriented Companion that comes with the “Tanlorin’s Finesse” perk. Tanlorin’s Finesse provides more time to pick a lock, an increased chance to force a lock and a reduced chance to break a lockpick. Which makes them, the perfect ESO Companion for a Thief Build!

You can purchase Tanlorin from the Crown Store or get them for free with an ESO Plus Subscription. This unlocks their “The Garland Ring” introductory Quest. To begin the Quest, find Tanlorin in the Auridon zone, right outside Vulkhel Guard. Follow their instructions to complete the quest and Tanlorin will join you as a Companion. From this point on, you can summon them and have them assist you in combat.

How to Get Zerith-Var Companion in ESO
Zerith-Var is the second Khajiit Companion in ESO, after Ember, that introduces the Necromancer Class to the Companion System! With Zerith-Var in the game now all available Classes have a Companion Representative. A Warrior Necromancer that can assist you in combat. His Perk “Zerith’s Guidance” highlights Heavy Sacks throughout Tamriel, which makes it easier to loot them!

You can also purchase Zerith-Var from the Crown Store or get him for free with an ESO Plus Subscription. This unlocks his “Moonlit Shadow” introductory Quest. To begin the Quest, talk to Cantor Krin’ze in the Reaper’s March zone, near the Moonmont Wayshrine. Find Zerith-Var and follow his instructions to complete the quest.
