How to Unlock Ember Companion in ESO
Ember is one of the two available Companions you can unlock in the High Isle zone, along with Isobel Veloise. In order to unlock her you must first gain access to the zone by owning the High Isle DLC. When you get access to the zone, travel to the Tor Draioch point of interest, North of Gonfalon Bay to find Ember. To unlock her as a Companion you need to complete her introductory Quest “Tower Full of Trouble“.

ESO Ember Healer Build
As a healer, Ember is a decent Support Companion with good heals and shields! If you like her personality and want to have her around, she can support you in this role as well. A full set of Light Armor with a combination of Soothing and Quickened pieces is the best combination for this role. This setup will offer you better healing done and better ability cooldowns.

ESO Ember Stamina DPS Build – Two Handed
Ember is not the best Companion for the role of Stamina DPS with any type of Weapon! She can get the job done if you insist but you will have better support with another Companion in that role. Equip her with a full set of Medium Armor and use the Quickened Trait for Stamina DPS! Any Two Handed Weapon will do.

- Spinning Steel: Good AOE damage that can work as an execute as well. Great against multiple enemies.
- Swift Assault: Deals five consecutive attacks.
- Hurricane Visage: Reduces damage.
- Shared Wards: Shield ability that also heals.
- Raging Storm: Shock AOE Ultimate.
ESO Ember Stamina DPS Build – Bow
Finally the Bow fits slightly better her ranged, Mage play style but again Ember is not the best for this role either. Use a full set of Medium Armor with the Quickened Trait for the best cooldowns and damage!

ESO Ember Tank Build
Standing still, taunting enemies and holding aggro is not the best role for Ember as well! Our cheerful girl wants to move around, zapping enemies with her powerful Shock spells and not standing still while holding a Shield. To maximize her potential as a Tank however you should equip her with a full set of Heavy Armor. A combination of Bolstered and Quickened pieces will offer reduced damage taken and better Ability cooldowns.
