ESO Magicka Sorcerer Pet DPS Build

Welcome to my Magicka Pet Sorcerer DPS Build for every type of PVE Gameplay in ESO! Overlord is a powerful Subclassing Build that is using a small army of Pets to deal with enemies and clear content. The Build offers two strong setups. A Sorcerer and Necromancer main combo and an alternative Sorcerer, Necromancer and Warden combination. Magicka Sorcerer DPS Pet Build Setup

The Build is designed to offer the maximum Damage possible and help you clear harder Group content. To achieve this you can wear a Whorl of the Depths and Pillar of Nirn combination, along with the powerful Harpooner’s Wading Kilt Mythic Item. Complement your setup with one piece of Slimecraw Monster Set and the Crushing Wall ability altering Set. For a No Trial and more casual setup, you can wear a combination of Unleashed Ritualist, Order’s Wrath and Maw of the Infernal Sets!

Skills for Sorcerer – Necromancer Setup

This Subclassing setup is using the following Skill lines to summon Permanent and temporary Pets:

• Daedric Summoning
• Storm Calling
• Grave Lord

• Ricochet Skull(Flame Skull): Main skill and spammable.
• Blighted Blastbones(Sacrificial Bones): Deals great damage.
• Mystic Siphon(Shocking Siphon): Deals good shock damage but also restores Magicka.
• Summon Volatile Familiar(Summon Unstable Familiar): Strong Pet. Volatile Familiar can DPS and stun enemies with its special ability.
• Summon Twilight Tormentor(Summon Winged Twilight): DPS Pet. When playing solo replace it with the Summon Twilight Matriarch morph as your only self-heal ability.
• Flawless Dawnbreaker(Dawnbreaker): Buffs weapon damage and deals great direct and DOT damage.
• Unstable Wall of Elements(Wall of Elements): Great AOE damage skill.
• Barbed Trap(Trap Beast): Additional DOT damage that also provides a boost to Critical Damage.
• Daedric Prey(Daedric Curse): Boosts the damage of Pets.
• Summon Charged Atronach(Summon Storm Atronach): Primary Ultimate.

Rotation

Set your Barbed Trap and attack with Unstable Wall of Elements, Daedric Prey, switch bars, Blighted Blastbones, Summon Volatile Familiar, Summon Twilight Tormentor(in group gameplay and while the enemy’s HP is above 50%), Blighted Blastbones, Mystic Siphon, Ricochet Skull as your spammable. Always cast Blighted Blastbones after every two skills. Use Ricochet Skull as your spammable and re cast the other skills when necessary. Heal yourself with Summon Twilight Matriarch when solo and Light Attack before every skill or action to boost your damage.

Skills for Sorcerer – Necromancer – Warden Setup

This Subclassing setup is using the following Skill lines to summon Permanent and temporary Pets:

• Daedric Summoning
• Grave Lord
• Animal Companions

• Ricochet Skull(Flame Skull): Main skill and spammable.
• Subterranean Assault(Scorch): Deals great AOE damage. When playing solo replace it with Deep Fissure(Scorch).
• Mystic Siphon(Shocking Siphon): Deals good shock damage but also restores Magicka.
• Summon Volatile Familiar(Summon Unstable Familiar): Strong Pet. Volatile Familiar can DPS and stun enemies with its special ability.
• Summon Twilight Tormentor(Summon Winged Twilight): DPS Pet. When playing solo replace it with the Summon Twilight Matriarch morph as your only self-heal ability.
• Wild Guardian(Feral Guardian): Powerful Ultimate.
• Unstable Wall of Elements(Wall of Elements): Great AOE damage skill.
• Barbed Trap(Trap Beast): Additional DOT damage that also provides a boost to Critical Damage.
• Daedric Prey(Daedric Curse): Boosts the damage of Pets.

Rotation

Passive Skills

Passive skills are always important for every character and can help you maximize the potential of your Magicka Sorcerer Build. Try to unlock them as fast as possible, so you can become stronger and tackle harder content faster. These are the Passive Skills you should unlock for the Magicka Sorcerer Pet Build.

Champion Points for Magicka Sorcerer Pet DPS Subclassing Build ESO

Below you will find the best Champion Points setup for the Build. When allocating Champion points to Slottable and Passive Stars your primary goal is to create paths! Allocate the minimum required points to stars along your path in order to reach your desired Slottable Stars faster. Once you have unlocked all Stars, start allocating more Champion Points to them to fill them out. Focus on Slottable Stars first, then Passive Stars. Warfare

• Slottable Stars: Deadly Aim, Master-at-Arms, Wrathful Strikes, Fighting Finesse(Exploiter for second setup)
• Passive: Eldritch Insight, Piercing, Flawless Ritual, War Mage, Quick Recovery, Hardy, Elemental Aegis, Preparation, Precision, Blessed, Tireless Discipline

Craft

• Slottable Stars: Steed’s Blessing, Master Gatherer, Gifted Rider, War Mount
• Passive: Gilded Fingers, Fortune’s Favor, Wanderer, Steadfast Enchantment, Treasure Hunter(slottable, required for path), Rationer, Liquid Efficiency

Fitness

• Slottable Stars: Celerity, Fortified, Rejuvenation, Boundless Vitality
• Passive: Sprinter, Hasty, Tireless Guardian, Hero’s Vigor, Mystic Tenacity, Tumbling, Defiance

Food and Potions for Magsorc DPS Build

Clockwork Citrus Filet is the Best Food for the Build while Essence of Spell Power is the best option as Potions.

Race

The Best Race for the Magicka Sorcerer Pet DPS Build in ESO is High Elf. Dark Elf, Khajiit and Breton are nice alternative Races you can use for a DPS focused Build. Any Race with Magicka bonuses can work well though. You can find more about the playable races in my ESO Race Guide!

Vampire or Werewolf

Neither is necessary.

Best Companion for Magicka Sorcerer Pet PVE Build ESO

If you wish to play Solo with the Magicka Sorcerer Pet DPS Build, you can bring along a mighty Companion! Companions in ESO are helpful allies that can assist you in combat. Every Companion can fulfill every role in the game and help you enjoy ESO more by clearing content faster or by simply interacting with them and their charming personality! There are various Builds you can use for every available ESO Companion!

As a DPS focused character my recommendation is to bring along a Tank or Healer Companion!
