ESO Stamina Templar PVE Build

Welcome to my Stamina Templar Build for PVE Gameplay in ESO! Light Warrior is a Powerful Stamplar Build that is using the class’ unique skills to deal damage and restore resources. The build relies on strong single target and AOE skills to eliminate targets and complete Solo and Group PVE content. Templar has access to strong support and offensive AOE skills that can help you deal damage and survive.

Stamina Templar PVE Build Setup

Light Warrior is a strong Stamplar Build that combines Templar Class abilities with powerful weapon skills!

Trials Group

This setup is for dedicated group gameplay, is using harder to find Trial gear and aims to help you achieve the best damage possible! Arms of Relequen and Aegis Caller deal massive damage to single targets and groups of enemies which makes them a great DPS combo Set to use! Deadly Strike is an excellent alternative Set for Templars. The Harpooner’s Wading Kilt Mythic Item, along with one piece from the Slimecraw Monster Set will help you reach higher DPS numbers. To complete the setup equip the amazing Merciless Charge Ability Altering Set in your back bar.

No Trial Gear

The No-Trial Gear setup is meant for easier Solo but also easier Group PVE Gameplay. You can wear this setup if you are planning to play Overland content(Public Dungeons, World Bosses) or clear normal Dungeons. This setup is not strong enough to survive Solo Arenas like the Maelstrom Arena, Vateshran Hollows and Infinite Archive. For this purpose you should use a dedicated Templar Solo PVE Build.

Skills for Stamina Templar PVE Build

Light Warrior combines strong Weapon skills with Templar Class abilities to deal with strong single targets but also groups of enemies! The Build has access to several AOE damage skills that can help you kill multiple enemies faster.

• Deadly Cloak(Blade Cloak): Strong DPS Skill.
• Rapid Strikes(Flurry): Powerful spammable.
• Power of the Light(Backlash): Deals damage and debuffs enemies.
• Barbed Trap(Trap Beast): Very good DOT damage and a boost to Critical Damage.
• Blazing Spear(Spear Shards): AOE damage skill. You can replace it with Razor Caltrops(Caltrops) for solo gameplay.
• Flawless Dawnbreaker(Dawnbreaker): Buffs weapon damage and deals great direct and DOT damage.
• Stampede(Critical Charge): Powerful AOE damage skill.
• Carve(Cleave): Great Bleed damage skill that applies a shield.
• Ritual of Retribution(Cleansing Ritual): Strong AOE skill.
• Resolving Vigor(Vigor): Heal ability.
• Repentance(Restoring Aura): Sustain skill that restores Stamina and Heals.
• Everlasting Sweep(Radial Sweep): Primary Ultimate.

Rotation

This is a more dynamic rotation where you attack with your spammable and re cast the other abilities when necessary! Drink a potion, set your Barbed Trap and attack with Stampede, Carve x3, Ritual of Retribution, switch bars. Continue with Blazing Spear or Razor Caltrops(when solo), Power of the Light, Deadly Cloak, Rapid Strikes as your spammable. Keep attacking with Rapid Strikes and re cast the other skills when necessary. Use Repentance to restore Stamina and Resolving Vigor to heal yourself. Use Everlasting Sweep when ready and always light attack before every skill or action to boost damage.

Bow Back-Bar

If you wish to play with Bow as your Back-Bar Weapon, just replace Stampede and Carve with Endless Hail(Volley) and Poison Injection(Poison Arrow).

Passive Skills for Stamina Templar Build ESO

Passive skills are always important for every character and can help you maximize the potential of your Stamina Templar Build. Try to unlock them as fast as possible, so you can become stronger and tackle harder content faster. These are the Passive Skills you should unlock for the Build.

• All Passive Skills from your Class’ Lines
• All Passive Skills from Weapon Lines you are using
• Passive Skills from Armor Lines you are using
• Passive Abilities from Guild lines(Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, Psijic Order) that affect your skills/Build
• Fighters Guild Passives: Intimidating Presence, Slayer, Banish the Wicked, Skilled Tracker
• Mages Guild Passives: Mage Adept, Everlasting Magic, Magicka Controller, Might of the Guild
• Undaunted Passives
• Your Racial Passives
• Medicinal Use Passive from Alchemy to boost the effectiveness of Potions

Champion Points

Below you will find the best Champion Points setup for the Build. When allocating Champion points to Slottable and Passive Stars your primary goal is to create paths! Allocate the minimum required points to stars along your path in order to reach your desired Slottable Stars faster.

Once you have unlocked all Stars, start allocating more Champion Points to them to fill them out. Focus on Slottable Stars first, then Passive Stars. If you would like to learn more about Champion Points and how they work, you can read my ESO Champion Points Guide.

Warfare

• Slottable Stars: Deadly Aim, Master-at-Arms, Wrathful Strikes, Biting Aura
• Passive: Tireless Discipline, Piercing, Battle Mastery, Mighty, Quick Recovery, Hardy, Elemental Aegis, Preparation, Precision, Blessed, Eldritch Insight

Craft

• Slottable Stars: Steed’s Blessing, Master Gatherer, Gifted Rider, War Mount
• Passive: Gilded Fingers, Fortune’s Favor, Wanderer, Steadfast Enchantment, Treasure Hunter(slottable, required for path), Rationer, Liquid Efficiency

Fitness

• Slottable Stars: Celerity, Fortified, Rejuvenation, Boundless Vitality
• Passive: Sprinter, Hasty, Tireless Guardian, Hero’s Vigor, Mystic Tenacity, Tumbling, Defiance

Artaeum Takeaway Broth is the Best Food for the Build while Essence of Weapon Power is the best option as Potions.

Race

The Best Race for the Stamina Templar PVE Build in ESO is Dark Elf. Orc and Khajiit are nice alternative Races you can use for a DPS focused Build. Any Race with Stamina bonuses can work well though. You can find more about the playable races in my ESO Race Guide!

Vampire or Werewolf

Neither is necessary.

Companion for Stamina Templar PVE Build ESO

If you wish to play Solo with the Build, you can bring along a mighty Companion! Companions in ESO are helpful allies that can assist you in combat. Every Companion can fulfill every role in the game and help you enjoy ESO more by clearing content faster or by simply interacting with them and their charming personality! There are various Builds you can use for every available ESO Companion!

As a DPS focused character my recommendation is to bring along a Tank or Healer Companion!
