Who is Lae’zel in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Lae’zel is one of the available Origin Characters that you can pick in Baldur’s Gate 3. As an origin character, you can pick Lae’zel at the start of the game as your main character and complete the game with her. Alternatively you can recruit her as a Companion and let her join your party.

How to Recruit Lae’zel in BG3?

Lae’zel is the first Companion you will meet in the game aboard the Nautiloid! You will recruit her temporarily at the start of the game and she will help you escape. After the crash, you will find Lae’zel trapped by two Tieflings North of the Roadside Cliffs Waypoint. You can convince the Tieflings to leave her to you or fight them. When you free her, you have the chance to recruit her as a Companion. If you ignore this encounter, you will still have a chance to recruit Lae’zel later before the Mountain Pass crossing and near the Rosymorn Monastery for a second time.
