Gryphon’s Ferocity buffs you with Minor Force and Minor Expedition when dealing direct damage. A nice option to deal with enemies but also move faster when exploring new areas. You can farm the Set in the Summerset zone. The Summerset DLC is necessary to access the zone.
7. Shadow of the Red Mountain
Shadow of the Red Mountain is a fun and effective Medium Armor Set. When you deal damage with a Weapon it spawns a Volcano that fires hot lava to enemies, dealing extra Fire damage! Great set to combine Physical and Elemental damage. You can drop its pieces in the Stonefalls zone, which is available with the Base Game!
8. Hexos’ Ward
This is an Overland Set that is focusing on survivability and is very good for Starter Solo Builds. Hexos’ Ward grants you a Damage Shield when you deal Critical Damage. Its pieces drop in The Deadlands zone. To access the zone the Deadlands DLC is necessary.
9. Macabre Vintage
Macabre Vintage is a powerful Bleed AOE set that deals massive damage to groups of enemies! You can farm its pieces in the West Weald zone. The Gold Road DLC is necessary to access the zone! Macabre is a great Set for a Bleed DPS Build in ESO.
10. Robes of the Hist
Robes of the Hist heal you when you are hit by a disabling effect, immobilization or snare. This effect makes the set excellent for PVP Gameplay but also Solo PVE. You can farm its pieces in the Shadowfen zone, which is available with the Base Game.

You can get pieces from Overland Sets by completing specific activities in every zone. When you are in the right zone, head to the appropriate area and defeat the right enemy in order to drop the piece you are after. This is where you can find each piece for Overland Armor Sets in ESO:
- Delve Bosses have a chance to drop a Waist or Feet piece from Sets in the zone.
- Public Dungeon Bosses have a chance to drop a Shoulders, Hand or Weapon piece from Sets in the zone.
- Overland Bosses will always drop a Head, Chest, Legs or Weapon piece from Sets in the zone.
- Dolmen and Other World Events Chests will always drop a Ring or Necklace piece from Sets in the zone. In zones without Dolmens or other World Events, you can get Rings and Necklaces from Treasure Chest and Psijic Portals!
