ESO Magicka Arcanist Solo Build

Welcome to my Magicka Arcanist Solo Build for ESO. The Build is utilizing the system of Subclassing, in order to maximize your effectiveness in Solo Gameplay. You can use it to defeat World Bosses, farm Public Dungeons, complete 4-man Dungeons in Normal or Veteran Difficulty and Solo Arenas like the Maelstrom Arena, Vateshran Hollows and Infinite Archive. Skills for Magicka Arcanist – Nightblade – Sorcerer Setup

This Subclassing Build is using the following Skill Lines:

• Herald of the Tome
• Assassination
• Storm Calling

• Escalating Runeblades(Runeblades): Spammable that generates Crux.
• Merciless Resolve or Relentless Focus(Grim Focus): Turns into a deadly Spectral Arrow after five light/heavy attacks that also heals.
• Pragmatic Fatecarver(Fatecarver): Powerful beam! Consumes Crux to deal more damage.
• Impale(Assassin’s Blade): Execute ability. Start using this skill once the enemy’s health drops below 25%-30%.
• Elemental Susceptibility(Weakness to Elements): Debuffs enemies and deals damage!
• Flawless Dawnbreaker(Dawnbreaker): Secondary Ultimate.
• Unstable Wall of Elements(Wall of Elements): Great AOE damage skill.
• Rune of Displacement(The Imperfect Ring): Deals damage and Crowd Controls enemies.
• Boundless Storm(Lightning Form): Good AOE damage.
• Critical Surge(Surge): Passive healing ability.
• Inspired Scholarship(Tome-Bearer’s Inspiration): Deals damage and buffs you.
• Incapacitating Strike(Death Stroke): Primary Ultimate.

Rotation

Buff yourself with Inspired Scholarship, Boundless Storm, Critical Surge and apply Elemental Susceptibility. Continue with Unstable Wall of Elements, Rune of Displacement, switch bars. Fire Spectral Arrow if it is ready(always fire it when it is ready until execute phase) and continue with Escalating Runeblades as your spammable. Keep attacking with Escalating Runeblades and re cast the other abilities when necessary. Every time you have max Crux, attack with Pragmatic Fatecarver. When the enemy’s Health is below 25%-30% start using Impale as your spammable. Use your Ultimates when ready and always Light Attack before every skill to boost your damage!

Passive skills are always important for every character and can help you maximize the potential of your Magicka Arcanist Solo Build. Try to unlock them as fast as possible, so you can become stronger and tackle harder content faster. These are the Passive Skills you should unlock for the Build.

Champion Points for Magicka Arcanist Solo

Below you will find the best Champion Points setup for the Build. When allocating Champion points to Slottable and Passive Stars your primary goal is to create paths! Allocate the minimum required points to stars along your path in order to reach your desired Slottable Stars faster. Once you have unlocked all Stars, start allocating more Champion Points to them to fill them out. Warfare

Clockwork Citrus Filet is the Best Food for the Build while Tri-Stat Potions are the best options as Potions.

Race

The Best Race for the Magicka Arcanist Solo Build in ESO is Nord or High Elf. Nord is great for a defensive setup since it provides a boost to Health, Armor and Ultimate Generation. High Elf is good for a more offensive approach with a boost to Damage and Max Magicka. Dark Elf, Khajiit and Breton are nice alternative Races you can use for a Solo focused Build. Any Race with Magicka bonuses can work well though. You can find more about the playable races in my ESO Race Guide!

Vampire or Werewolf

Neither is necessary.

Best Companion for Magicka Arcanist Solo Build

You can also bring along a mighty Companion in your Solo adventures! Companions in ESO are helpful allies that can assist you in combat. Every Companion can fulfill every role in the game and help you enjoy ESO more by clearing content faster or by simply interacting with them and their charming personality! There are various Builds you can use for every available ESO Companion!
