ESO Update 47 Features
Update 47 brings a few interesting new features to ESO! The highlight of this new patch is of course the addition of two new Dungeons(Feast of Shadows content pack) to The Elder Scrolls Online, as well as a few new Armor Sets. With Update 47 players can also find new Houses and several Quality of Life changes, that will make their life easier.
Everything New in ESO Update 47
The most important changes and additions in Update 47 include:
- Two new Dungeons
- New Sets
- Writhing Wall Event
- New Houses
- Swimming Mounts
- Infinite Archive Vision Rerolls
New Dungeons
Black Gem Foundry and Naj-Caldeesh are the latest additions to ESO Dungeons! They are available with the “Feast of Shadows” content pack and focus on Coldharbour and Argonian culture respectively. You can find the Black Gem Foundry Dungeon in the Solstice zone. Challenging Bosses and secrets lie inside this dungeon, waiting for you to uncover and defeat them! Naj-Caldeesh Dungeon is also located in the Solstice zone. Another challenging dungeon with a few smart puzzles inside.
New Armor Sets
There are eleven(11) New Armor Sets in Update 47. Four(4) from each Dungeon, and three(3) New Rewards for the Worthy Sets. These new Sets are:
- Black Foundry Steel(Black Gem Foundry)
- Black Gem Monstrocity(Black Gem Foundry)
- Lustrous Soulwell(Black Gem Foundry)
- Vykand’s Soulfury(Black Gem Foundry)
- Bar-Sakka(Naj-Caldeesh)
- Stonehulk Domination(Naj-Caldeesh)
- Tools of the Trapmaster(Naj-Caldeesh)
- Xanmeer Spellweaver(Naj-Caldeesh)
- Coup de Grace(Rewards for the Worthy)
- Spellshredder(Rewards for the Worthy)
- Unflinching Ultimate(Rewards for the Worthy)
Writhing Wall Event in ESO
Battle for the Writhing Wall is a Community Event that will unlock the Eastern Part of Solstice in ESO! The Event is divided in phases and will ask players to complete certain tasks, in the form of Daily Quests. By completing those quests in the Solstice zone, you progress the Event meter and advance the story. Players can participate even if they do not have access to the zone. The reward coffers you receive when you complete the Event Quests can grant you unique items, like a Pet, Motifs, Outfit Styles and a Skill Style!
New Houses in ESO Update 47
Fans of ESO Housing rejoice! Update 47 brings two new Houses to the game. These are:
- Hiddenspring Cottage in Gold Coast. A cozy little home that you can buy some time later after Update 47 release.
- Wildgrown Chapel of Julianos in West Weald. This house will be available as the 2025 Q4 Morph for the Stonewisp of Truth and Law Pet!
Swimming Mounts!
Mounts can now swim in ESO! This makes traversing bodies of water easier than ever and allows you to move faster around Tamriel. A major Quality of Life change that makes the life of every player easier.
Infinite Archive Vision Reroll!
With Update 47 it will be possible to reroll your Visions inside the Infinite Archive! Use your Archival Fortunes to reroll the selection of Visions and pick a more appropriate Vision for your Build. The cost in Archival Fortunes increases with each consecutive reroll!
More Changes in ESO Update 47
A few more changes coming with this Update include Unidentified Survey Reports, Compass Improvements and a Dodge Roll Visualization Update. The most important Combat change has to do with Grim Focus and its Morphs not increasing Weapon and Spell Damage anymore. These skills now offer the Prophecy and Savagery Buffs instead. Despite this change, these two skills and the Assassination line as a whole are still valuable for most Subclassing Builds!
