Magicka Nightblade Vampire PVE

Dark Lord is a Magicka Nightblade Vampire DPS PVE Build for Solo and Group gameplay. This Magicka Nightblade PVE Build is utilizing the Vampire skill-line and is optimized for Vampire Stage 3. Dark Lord combines the Nightblade’s Strong skills with Vampire active and passive abilities to allow you to complete almost every PVE content.

Magicka Nightblade Vampire PVE Build Setup

The Build offers different setups, depending on the difficulty of the content you wish to complete but also the gear you wish to wear! Below you can find setups for Trials Group DPS, a No Trial Gear Setup and a Beginner Setup(c160).

Trials Group DPS

This setup is for dedicated group gameplay, is using Trial gear and it aims to achieve the best damage possible. You can also wear (Perfected)Bahsei’s Mania or (Perfected) Mantle of Siroria instead of (Perfected)Whorl of the Depths.

No Trial Gear

No-Trial Gear setup for easier solo/group gameplay that can complete almost every PVE content. This setup is perfect if you do not wish to farm Trials for specific Armor Sets.

Beginner Setup

An effective gear setup that will help you play as a Magicka Nightblade Vampire early in the game!

Skills for Magicka Nightblade Vampire PVE Build

The following Skills will help you achieve great DPS for Group content but will also help you in Solo gameplay.

• Arterial Burst(Eviscerate): Main offensive skill/spammable.
• Twisting Path(Path of Darkness): Strong AOE-DOT skill.
• Impale(Assassin’s Blade): Our execute ability. You should start using this skill once the enemy’s health drops below 25%.
• Merciless Resolve(Grim Focus): Boosts damage and can turn into the deadly Assassin’s Will skill after five light/heavy attacks that also heals us.
• Barbed Trap(Trap Beast): Additional DOT damage but we are mainly using it for the boost to our Critical Damage.
• Flawless Dawnbreaker(Dawnbreaker): Deals damage but also buffs you actively and passively.
• Mystic Orb(Necrotic Orb): Strong AOE DPS Skill.
• Unstable Wall of Elements(Wall of Elements): Great Fire AOE damage skill.
• Simmering Frenzy(Blood Frenzy): Great boost to Spell Damage at the cost of Health.
• Siphoning Attacks(Siphoning Strikes): Most important skill for our sustain.
• Dark Shade(Summon Shade): Summons a Shade that assists with Damage and debuffs enemies.
• Soul Harvest(Death Stroke): Primary Ultimate. Increases our damage to the enemy and generates Ultimate faster.

• Slottable Stars: Deadly Aim, Master-at-Arms, Backstabber/Fighting Finesse, Wrathful Strikes/Reaving Blows
• Passive: Eldritch Insight, Piercing, Flawless Ritual, War Mage, Precision, Quick Recovery, Hardy, Elemental Aegis, Preparation, Blessed, Tireless Discipline

Craft

• Slottable Stars: Rationer, Liquid Efficiency, Master Gatherer, Steed’s Blessing
• Passive: Gilded Fingers, Fortune’s Favor, Wanderer, Steadfast Enchantment, Treasure Hunter(slottable, required for path)

Fitness

The Thief to boost Critical Chance.

What Race is Best for Magicka Nightblade Vampire PVE Build

High Elf – Dark Elf – Khajiit – Breton is the best race for a DPS focused Build. Any Race with Magicka bonuses can work well though. You can find more about the playable races in my ESO Race Guide!

Vampire or Werewolf

Vampire Stage 3 at least.

Rotation for Magicka Nightblade Vampire PVE Build

Buff yourself with Siphoning Attacks, drink a potion, set your Barbed Trap, activate Simmering Frenzy, Dark Shade and attack with Mystic Orb, Unstable Wall of Elements. Switch bars and continue with Assassin’s Will (if ready), Twisting Path, Arterial Burst as your spammable. Keep attacking with Arterial Burst and re cast the other skills when necessary! Once the enemy’s health drops below 25% start executing with Impale. Use Siphoning Attacks to restore Magicka. Use Soul Harvest when ready and always Light Attack before every skill/action to boost your damage.
