Necromancer Hybrid PVE

Fireplague is a Stamina Based Necromancer Hybrid DPS PVE Build, that is using both Stamina and Magicka skills. The Build combines strong Elemental and melee Damage while using its minions to assist in fight! Below you can find different setups depending on the type of content you wish to complete, the difficulty and the gear you wish to wear!

Necromancer Hybrid PVE Build Setup

The Build offers different setups, depending on the difficulty of the content you wish to complete but also the gear you wish to wear! Below you can find setups for Trials Group DPS, a No Trial Gear Setup and a Beginner Setup(c160).

Trials Group DPS

This setup is for dedicated group gameplay, is using Trial gear and it aims to achieve the best damage possible. You can also use Berserking Warrior or (Perfected)Coral Riptide as alternative sets.

Beginner Setup

There are various sets you can use as a beginner. Armor Sets that can help you understand the play-style while boosting your Stamina and Magicka offensive capabilities. Some of these sets are:

Stormfist, Selene, Ilambris as full Monster Sets. A combination of Hunding’s Rage, Law of Julianos, Night mother’s Gaze, Morkuldin or Armor of the Seducer can work well.

  • Deadly Cloak(Blade Cloak): Strong DPS skill.
  • Venom Skull(Flame Skull): Strong spammable.
  • Skeletal Archer(Skeletal Mage): Great additional damage and fuel for Detonating Siphon.
  • Stalking Blastbones(Blastbones): Great source of damage for necromancer.
  • Detonating Siphon(Shocking Siphon): We use this skill to increase our damage passively but also to deal additional disease damage by exploiting our corpses. For solo gameplay replace it in back bar with Razor Caltrops(Caltrops).
  • Flawless Dawnbreaker(Dawnbreaker): Placed here to boost our Weapon Damage. No need to use it.
  • Avid Boneyard(Boneyard): Frost AOE damage skill that allows us to use our own synergy to deal more damage and heal ourselves.
  • Unstable Wall of Elements(Wall of Elements): Strong AOE skill.
  • Barbed Trap(Trap Beast): Very good DOT damage and a boost to our Critical Damage.
  • Spirit Guardian(Spirit Mender): Minion that heals and reduces incoming damage.
  • Pestilent Colossus(Frozen Colossus): Our Ultimate. Deals great disease damage and applies Major Vulnerability.

  • Passive: Tireless Discipline, Flawless Ritual, War Mage, Piercing, Battle Mastery, Mighty, Quick Recovery, Hardy, Elemental Aegis, Preparation, Precision, Blessed, Eldritch Insight

Craft

We are using Artaeum Takeaway Broth or Orzorga’s Smoked Bear Haunch as Food and Essence of Weapon Power as Potions.

What Race is Best for Necromancer Hybrid PVE Build

Dark Elf – Orc – Khajiit is the best Race for a DPS focused Build. Any Race with Stamina bonuses can work well though. You can find more about the playable races in my ESO Race Guide!

Vampire or Werewolf

Neither is necessary.

Rotation for Necromancer Hybrid PVE Build

Drink a Potion, summon your Skeletal Archer, Spirit Guardian(when necessary), set your Barbed Trap and attack with Avid Boneyard, Unstable Wall of Elements, Razor Caltrops(when solo). Switch bars and continue with Stalking Blastbones, Skeletal Archer, Deadly Cloak, Stalking Blastbones, Detonating Siphon, Venom Skull, Stalking Blastbones, Venom Skull x2, Stalking Blastbones, switch bars.

Avid Boneyard, Unstable Wall of Elements, Barbed Trap, Razor Caltrops(when solo), switch bars and continue. When in front bar use Stalking Blastbones after every two skills and re cast Skeletal Archer, Deadly Cloak, Detonating Siphon when necessary. Use Pestilent Colossus when ready and always Light Attack before every skill/action to boost damage!
