Leveling in Throne and Liberty is a natural and fun process! Unlike other NCSoft games, to level up in Throne and Liberty you do not have to grind mobs endlessly for minimal gains. The game introduces a Quest and Events based Leveling progression system, that will take you around the available world and help you get to the maximum level fast. How Leveling Works in Throne and Liberty
Getting to the maximum Level(which is 50 at the moment) in Throne and Liberty is not that hard. Leveling is based on the various Quests available in the game, introducing a more straightforward experience that allows you to become familiar with the lore and World of TL. Grinding enemies is obviously an alternative way of leveling up but is not the most efficient. To reach level 50 fast you should focus on completing Quests in Throne and Liberty! This is because Quests offer significant EXP gains when you complete them.
What Types of Quests Exist in Throne and Liberty
There are four different types of Quests in Throne and Liberty. All of them will help you with Leveling up fast in the game but some are better than other! The available Quest Types in TL are:
- Main Story Quests(Purple)
- Side Quests(Blue)
- Contracts(Yellow)
- Guild Contracts(Green)
Main Story Quests offer the best EXP gains and should always be your number one priority when leveling up in Throne and Liberty! They also offer several free materials that will help you upgrade your gear and level up your skills. Side Quests offer a decent amount of EXP and materials as well. There are several Side Quests available in TL that can help you earn extra EXP but in general they work as a filler between Main Story Quests.
Contracts are basically Daily Quests that you unlock when you start Chapter 3 of the Main Story Quest! Contracts is a great source of crafting and upgrading materials that will help you become stronger in the game. They are also the main Quests you will continue completing after reaching the maximum Level! Finally Guild Quests are available only to Guild members and they can also offer EXP and other items as a reward. Guild Contracts is not an efficient way to level up fast in Throne and Liberty however.

Main Story Quest to Level Up Fast in Throne and Liberty
The Best and most efficient way to Level up fast in Throne and Liberty is by following and completing the Main Story Quest! The main Story Line is divided in Chapters with several shorter quests each. Every time you complete a Main Story(Purple) Quest, you get a significant amount of EXP that helps you gain one level after the other. This is why you should focus on always completing your Main Story Quests when they are available. Always search for NPC with the purple marker over their head to unlock the next Main Story Quest!
Side Quests in Throne and Liberty
There are several Side Quests in Throne and Liberty as well. The EXP gains you can earn from them are not as great as those from the Main Story line but they are worth it. Especially if you like exploring since most Side Quests appear automatically when you enter a new area and ask you to perform easy tasks around. Side Quests work mostly as a filler for when you do not have a Purple Quest available.
Contracts in Throne and Liberty
Contracts is an important aspect of gameplay in Throne and Liberty. They are basically Daily Quests that reward you with EXP, Sollant and upgrading materials. You unlock Contracts when you start Chapter 3 of the main Quest(at around level 11) and you should complete them every day! As you gain levels and move to new areas, you also unlock new Contract Managers that offer more difficult contracts with better rewards.
Contracts you accept, send you to nearby areas to kill a number of enemies, gather materials or perform another task. They are usually fast and easy to complete. Daily Contracts are going to be a major part of your Daily Routine before and after you hit the maximum level. Dynamic Events in Throne and Liberty
Dynamic Events is another way you can earn valuable EXP, along with other items. These Events take place every three hours and introduce specific tasks in an area, that players have to fulfill for various rewards! Dynamic Events offer a nice amount of EXP that will help you level up fast in Throne and Liberty, as well as valuable materials to level up your skills. Like Contracts, Dynamic Events will also be important for your Daily Routine after you hit the maximum level. Dungeons in Throne and Liberty
There are several Solo and Group Dungeons in Throne and Liberty! All of them offer a nice chunk of EXP when you complete them, as well as some of the best gear in the game. Grind EXP in Throne and Liberty
EXP Grind is an alternative way to earn EXP for your character but is not very efficient. You can visit an area or an Open World Dungeon and start hitting mobs for EXP but this is a slower way of making progress. Grinding monsters is better if you wish to drop a specific item or want to earn Sollant. The extra EXP you gain of course is a nice bonus when leveling up in Throne and Liberty!

The best way to level up fast in Throne and Liberty is by completing the Main Story Quest line! Completing Purple Quests and Chapters of the story line offers massive EXP gains and can help you gain multiple levels fast. Focus on always completing these quests when they are available. If you do not have access to a Purple Quest, then complete Side Quests, Contracts and Dynamic Events to get to the next level as fast as possible and unlock new Purple Quests.
