Welcome to my Lucent Guide for Throne and Liberty! This guide will show you the best methods you can follow in-game, in order to earn Lucent as a F2P Player and fund your progress with success!

What is Lucent in Throne and Liberty?

Lucent is the Premium Currency of Throne and Liberty! A valuable currency that you can use to buy items, upgrade your gear, unlock the Battle Pass and earn its rewards but also enjoy other services. Lucent is vital for the Auction House but also the player economy of Throne and Liberty. Despite being a Premium Currency, the game offers a variety of ways you can earn Lucent as a F2P player!

What are the Best Ways to earn Lucent in Throne and Liberty?

Throne and Liberty offers a variety of ways you can earn this valuable currency as a f2p Player. The main ways are:

1. Sell Lithograph
2. Extract and Sell Traits
3. Make Food with Cooking and Sell

1. Make and Sell Lithographs to the Auction House

It is possible to turn valuable drops into a Lithograph in order to sell it to the Auction House and earn Lucent! You can use your Abyssal Contract Tokens to farm Open World Dungeons in the game and farm valuable items. Each Dungeon has its own unique loot table that offers a variety of items. Some might be useful for you and your TL Builds, while other might not be! You cannot sell those items as they drop. You can however turn them into a Lithograph, which is basically a Crafting Recipe, and sell those to the Auction House for profit.

In order to create a Lithograph, you will need first an appropriate Blank Lithograph. You can make those with the use of Enchanted Ink, that you can buy from the Contract Coin Merchant with Contract Coins that you earn when you complete your Daily Contracts. When you have the Blank Lithograph, go to your inventory, click on the item and select the Lithograph option on the side of its tooltip. You can now create the Lithograph and sell it to the Auction House in order to earn Lucent!

An alternative to this method would be to use the Lithograph yourself, crafting the item and hoping for a Great Success, so you can sell the new item instead of its Lithograph. This is a riskier approach to this method that however offers better rewards.

2. Extract Traits and Sell them

You cannot turn all valuable items into a Lithograph in order to sell them for Lucent. In this case you should extract the Traits of items you drop and sell those. Traits in Throne and Liberty is an important aspect of gear progression, that make you stronger! Some Traits are more helpful and as a result more valuable. So it is possible to make a small fortune in Lucent by selling Traits in the Auction House.

To extract Traits from items you will need special stones, called Trait Extraction Stones! You can buy those from the Contract Coin Merchant but also receive them from other activities like Mystic Globes and Weekly Missions! You should be doing this with every item you do not need, not only with the most valuable drops. Extracting Traits and selling them regularly creates a steady income of Lucent and will help you progress faster in Throne and Liberty!

3. Make Food to Sell in the Auction House

Cooking is another form of Crafting in the game, that allows you to create helpful Consumables! When you get a Great Success every time you make Food, you can sell those dishes to the Auction House and make a profit. The higher your Cooking Mastery is, the better the quality of your Food and the better the payout! Cooking is a more reliable Crafting method to make Lucent in Throne and Liberty because you create consumables that will always be in demand!
