ESO Templar Knight DPS Build

Powerful Templar Knight DPS Build for ESO! A Subclassing Build for harder Group content but also easier Solo Gameplay in The Elder Scrolls Online. An One Hand and Shield Build that combines skill lines from different ESO Classes, to create two different setups. A Champion of Light, Blazing Light and an Evil setup, Unholy Knight! Skills for Unholy Knight Templar – Nightblade – Necromancer Setup

This Subclassing Build is using the following Skill Lines:

• Aedric Spear
• Assassination
• Grave Lord

• Power Slam(Power Bash)
• Relentless Focus(Grim Focus)
• Blighted Blastbones(Sacrificial Bones)
• Blazing Spear(Spear Shards)
• Detonating Siphon(Shocking Siphon)
• Flawless Dawnbreaker(Dawnbreaker)
• Stampede(Critical Charge)
• Carve(Cleave)
• Barbed Trap(Trap Beast)
• Skeletal Archer(Skeletal Mage)
• Resolving Vigor(Vigor)
• Incapacitating Strike(Death Stroke)

Rotation

Summon Skeletal Archer, place your Barbed Trap and attack with Stampede, Carve x3, switch bars. Continue with Blighted Blastbones, Spectral Arrow(always fire when it is ready), Power Slam, Blighted Blastbones, Detonating Siphon, Blazing Spear. Continue attacking with Power Slam as your spammable, re cast the other abilities when necessary and always cast Blight Blastbones after every two skills. Heal with Resolving Vigor if you have to. Use your Ultimates when ready and Light Attack before every skill to boost your damage.

This Subclassing Build is using the following Skill Lines:

• Killer’s Blade(Assassin’s Blade)
• Blazing Spear(Spear Shards)
• Barbed Trap(Trap Beast)

• Carve(Cleave)
• Searing Claw(Searing Strike)
• Soul of Flame(Core of Flame)
• Incinerate(Inferno). You can replace it with the Cauterize(Inferno) morph for Solo content.
• Incapacitating Strike(Death Stroke)

Rotation

Set your Barbed Trap, attack with Stampede, Carve x3, Searing Claw, Soul of Flame, Incinerate and switch bars. Fire Spectral Arrow if it is ready(always fire it when it is ready) and continue with Blazing Spear, Power Slam as your spammable. Keep attacking with Power Slam and re cast the other abilities when necessary. When the enemy’s Health is below 25%-30% start using Killer’s Blade as your spammable but cast Power Slam when you need to trigger the Huntsman’s Warmask effect. Use your Ultimates when ready and always Light Attack before every skill to boost your damage!

Champion Points

Below you will find the best Champion Points setup for the Build. When allocating Champion points to Slottable and Passive Stars your primary goal is to create paths! Allocate the minimum required points to stars along your path in order to reach your desired Slottable Stars faster.

Race

The Best Race for the Templar Knight Subclassing DPS Build in ESO is Dark Elf. Orc and Khajiit are nice alternative Races you can use for a DPS focused Build. Any Race with Stamina bonuses can work well though. You can find more about the playable races in my ESO Race Guide!
