Nightblade Hybrid Stamina DPS PVE

Shadowmaster is a Stamina Based Nightblade Hybrid DPS PVE Build, that is using both Stamina and Magicka skills. A unique combination of Magicka and Stamina Abilities, makes the Build flexible and effective for almost every PVE content. Below you can find different setups depending on the type of content you wish to complete, the difficulty and the gear you wish to wear!

Nightblade Hybrid Stamina DPS PVE Build Setup

The Build offers different setups, depending on the difficulty of the content you wish to complete but also the gear you wish to wear! Below you can find setups for Trials Group DPS, a No Trial Gear Setup and a Beginner Setup(c160).

Trials Group DPS

This setup is for dedicated group gameplay, is using Trial gear and it aims to achieve the best damage possible. You can use Berserking WarriorCoral RiptideWhorl of the Depths or Pillar of Nirn as alternative sets.

Beginner Setup

There are various sets you can use as a beginner. Armor Sets that can help you understand the play-style while boosting your Stamina and Magicka offensive capabilities. Some of these sets are:

Stormfist, Selene, Ilambris as full Monster Sets. A combination of Hunding’s Rage, Law of Julianos, Night mother’s Gaze, Morkuldin or Armor of the Seducer can work well.

  • Twisting Path(Path of Darkness): Strong AOE-DOT skill.
  • Surprise Attack(Veiled Strike): Our spammable.
  • Killer’s Blade(Asassin’s Blade): Our execute ability.
  • Relentless Focus(Grim Focus): Boosts Damage and turns into a deadly Spectral Arrow after five light/heavy attacks.
  • Deadly Cloak(Blade Cloak): Strong AOE damage skill. In Solo gameplay you can replace it with Razor Caltrops(Caltrops) but is not necessary.
  • Flawless Dawnbreaker(Dawnbreaker): Placed here to boost our Weapon Damage. No need to use it.
  • Shadow SIlk(Trapping Webs): AOE Damage skill.
  • Unstable Wall of Elements(Wall of Elements): Another strong AOE skill.
  • Barbed Trap(Trap Beast): Very good DOT damage and a boost to our Critical Damage.
  • Siphoning Attacks(Siphoning Strikes): Powerful Sustain ability.
  • Dark Shade(Summon Shade): Summons a Shade that assists with Damage and debuffs enemies.
  • Incapacitating Strike(Death Stroke): Our primary Ultimate, dealing great disease damage and causing the enemy to take more damage from our attacks.

We are using Artaeum Takeaway Broth or Orzorga’s Smoked Bear Haunch as Food and Essence of Weapon Power as Potions.

What Race is best for Nightblade Hybrid PVE Build

Dark Elf – Orc – Khajiit is the best race for a DPS focused Build. Any Race with Stamina bonuses can work well though. You can find more about the playable races in my ESO Race Guide!

Vampire or Werewolf

Neither is necessary.

Rotation for Nightblade Hybrid Stamina DPS PVE Build

Drink a potion, set your Barbed Trap, summon Dark Shade, attack with Razor Caltrops (when solo), Shadow Silk, Unstable Wall of Elements and switch bars. Continue with Spectral Arrow(if ready), Deadly Cloak, Twisting Path, Surprise Attack. Continue attacking with Surprise Attack as your spammable and re cast the other skills when necessary! Use Incapacitating Strike when ready and Siphoning Attacks if you need to restore Resources. When the enemy’s health drops below 25% start using Killer’s Blade as your spammable/execute. Always Light Attack before every skill/action to boost your damage.
