Zeal of Zenithar Event

The Zeal of Zenithar Event returns to ESO! The Event is dedicated to the Tamrielic god of commerce and hard work and will run from Thursday, July 27th at 10:00 AM EDT until Tuesday, August 8th at 10:00 AM EDT! During the event, players can earn extra rewards by completing related to the god activities and adventuring along with their friends!

How to Participate in Zeal of Zenithar Event

To participate in the Event, accept the Event Quest: The Unrefusable Offer from the Crown Store for free. The Quest will send you to Belkarth, to talk to Amminus Varo. Amminus Varo is located right outside Belkarth, in the Craglorn zone. To travel faster to him you can use one of the portals near every Impresario Tent.

He will explain aspects of Zenithar’s beliefs and ask you to assist him with certain tasks. The first task is to provide him with Baked Apples. You can get apples near him and buy the recipe to make Baked Apples from the Chef Vendor in the area. Make the apples and give them to him.

His second task is to collect Wood. Then for his final task, you will have to retrieve the Blessed Awl tool from enemies nearby. During the fight you need to defeat an Overworld Boss type of enemy(1.5 million Health), which can be tough for newer players. Return to Amminus Varo and follow his instructions to complete the quest.

Daily Quest – Zeal of Zenithar Event

Once you complete the introductory Quest, a single Daily Quest will become available. Next to Amminus Varo, you can speak to Fasaria and accept her “Honest Toil” Daily Quest. Honest Toil will ask you to first pray to Zenithar(or have Fasaria pray for you if you are not the religious type!) and then complete one out of three available tasks:

  • Gain a level or earn a Champion Point
  • Unearth an Antiquity or Treasure Chest
  • Trade with Guild Traders(5000 Gold exchanged at Guild Traders)

You only need to complete one of the above tasks to complete the quest. Unearthing a green antiquity seems to be the easiest way! Completing this Daily Quest every day will reward you with a Zenithar’s Sublime Parcel as well as three(3) Event Tickets!

Zeal of Zenithar Event Rewards

By completing the “Honest Toil” quest every day, you earn a Golden Zenithar’s Sublime Parcel. It is also possible to earn Purple Zenithar’s Delightful Parcels by completing additional activities.

  • You earn a box for completing the Introductory Quest
  • a guaranteed box for completing any Master Writ
  • a guaranteed box for the first Daily Crafting Writ per account
  • a guaranteed box for defeating a World Boss or World Events(dolmens, harrowstorms, geysers, dragons, volcanic vents) while grouped with at least one guild member(from any of your five guilds)
  • a chance to earn a box for completing each round of group based Arenas while grouped with at least one guild member(from any of your five guilds) with a guaranteed drop in the final round
  • a small chance to steal boxes from pickpocketing, strongboxes or thieves’ troves.

The parcels can contain various rewards, such as:

  • Outfit Style Pages for the NEW Kwama Miner’s Kit
  • Outfit Style Pages for the NEW Ashen Militia weapon style
  • Motifs
  • Crafting Materials
  • Crafting Boosters
  • Recipes
  • Repair Kits
  • Treasure Maps, Survey Reports, Imperial City Vault Keys
  • Companion Gear
  • A Random Currency Pouch

The random Currency Pouch can contain Gold or Tel Var with the small possibility of a jackpot amount of 100000 of the associated currency. The jackpot cannot be modified by Champion Points or other Passives that affect currency gain! The golden Zenithar’s Sublime Parcel has a better chance to reward you with the most valuable items!

Global Effects for Zeal of Zenithar Event

While the Event is live a few Global Effects will also be active! These effects are:

  • Wayshrine travel costs are reduced by 75%
  • Repair costs on vendors are reduced by 50%
  • Crafting inspiration from all sources is increased by 100%
  • Vendor prices across Tamriel are reduced by 10%

Vendor prices include vendors that sell items for Gold, AP or Tel Var, including the Golden Vendor in Cyrodiil, as well as Houses purchasable for Gold! They do not include Bag or Bank upgrades, currency vendors that do not sell things for Gold, AP or Tel Var, Guild Traders.

This is a great time to level up your crafting professions but also acquire Houses and other items(Rings and Necklaces from the Golden) cheaper! If you are interested in Crafting you can read my Crafting Guide for all Professions!

Impresario during the Zeal of Zenithar Event

You can earn up to 39 Event Tickets during the Event! With those you can buy from the Impresario:

  • All three Passion Dancer Blossom Pet Fragments
  • The first fragment for the Passion Dancer Costume
  • Kwama Miner’s Kit Outfit Style Pages(Bound)
  • Ashen Militia Weapon Style Pages(Bound)
  • Group Repair Kits
  • Companion Guild Commendations

From the Impresario’s Assistant, Philius Dormier, you can also buy:

  • All three fragments for the Unstable Morpholith Pet
  • All three fragments for the Deadlands Firewalker Personality

Indrik Vendor during the Zeal of Zenithar Event

Finally the Indrik Vendor will have available for purchase:

  • Feathers for the Nascent Indrik Mount
  • Berries for the Onyx Indrik Mount
  • Berries for the Mossheart Indrik mount
  • Ebon-Glow Indrik Pet
  • Sapling Indrik Pet
