Welcome to my Warden Frost DPS Build for PVE Gameplay in ESO! Ice Queen is a powerful Frost Mage-like, Magicka Warden Build in ESO. The build puts emphasis on Frost Damage and Crowd Control skills and is capable of completing most solo content but also harder PVE group gameplay. A Staff Magicka Warden PVE build that is utilizing the Subclassing system by combining Warden and Necromancer abilities. Skills for Magicka Warden Frost DPS Build ESO
Ice Queen relies on skills that deal strong Frost Damage to boost your DPS in ESO! The Build offers several hard hitting abilities against single targets but also against multiple enemies. This Subclassing Build is using the following Skill Lines:
- Animal Companions
- Winter’s Embrace
- Grave Lord
To maximize your efficiency you can even add a few Scribing skills:
- Chilling Explosion: Frost Damage+Lingering Torment+Lifesteal
- Chilling Contingency: Frost Damage+Lingering Torment+Vulnerability
- Chilling Burst: Frost Damage+Lingering Torment+Magickasteal
- Chilling Soul: Frost Damage+Lingering Torment+Cowardice
- Frost Reach(Destructive Touch): Powerful spammable.
- Subterranean Assault(Scorch): Strong Area skill that deals great AOE damage. You can use Deep Fissure(Scorch) in Solo gameplay for its debuff.
- Grave Lord’s Sacrifice(Sacrificial Bones): Boosts damage with Necromancer and Damage over Time skills.
- Barbed Trap(Trap Beast): Additional DOT damage that also boosts Critical Damage.
- Mystic Siphon(Shocking Siphon): Deals good damage but also restores Magicka.
- Wild Guardian(Feral Guardian): Powerful ultimate.
- Winter’s Revenge(Impaling Shards): Strong Frost AOE and DOT skill.
- Unstable Wall of Elements(Wall of Elements): Great AOE skill.
- Avid Boneyard(Boneyard): Frost AOE damage skill that allows you to use your own synergy to deal more damage and heal.
- Blue Betty(Betty Netch): Very important self-buff.
- Arctic Blast(Arctic Wind): Strong Frost AOE damage over time ability. Replace with Polar Wind(Arctic Wind) for Solo Gameplay.
Rotation for Magicka Warden Frost PVE Build
Buff yourself with Blue Betty and set your Barbed Trap. Attack with Winter’s Revenge, Unstable Wall of Elements, Avid Boneyard, Arctic Blast. Continue with Grave Lord’s Sacrifice, Subterranean Assault or Deep Fissure, Mystic Siphon, Frost Reach as your spammable. Keep attacking with Frost Reach and re-cast the other skills when necessary! Use your Ultimate when ready and always Light Attack before every skill to boost your damage!

Warden Frost DPS Group Gameplay Build ESO – Trial Gear
This Frost Damage based Setup is designed for harder Group content, taking into consideration the unique Nature of the Warden Class, its Ice damage skills and how Status Effects work. No Trial Gear
The No-Trial Gear setup is meant for easier Solo but also easier Group PVE Gameplay, while focusing on Frost Damage! You can wear this setup if you are planning to play Overland content(Public Dungeons, World Bosses) or clear normal Dungeons. This setup is not strong enough to survive Solo Arenas like the Maelstrom Arena, Vateshran Hollows and Infinite Archive. For this purpose you should use a dedicated Warden Solo PVE Build.

Champion Points for Warden DPS Build ESO
Below you will find the best Champion Points setup for the Build. When allocating Champion points to Slottable and Passive Stars your primary goal is to create paths! Allocate the minimum required points to stars along your path in order to reach your desired Slottable Stars faster.

Clockwork Citrus Filet is the Best Food for the Build while Essence of Spell Power is the best option as Potions.

The Best Race for the Magicka Warden Frost DPS Build in ESO is High Elf. Dark Elf, Khajiit and Breton are nice alternative Races you can use for a DPS focused Build. Any Race with Magicka bonuses can work well though. You can find more about the playable races in my ESO Race Guide!
Vampire or Werewolf
