Welcome to my Magicka Templar Hybrid Build for PVE Gameplay in ESO! Aurora is a Templar Build that relies on Fire and Magic damage, as well as strong Melee abilities to clear content in ESO! The goal of the build is to provide a fun, mixed gameplay that can complete almost every PVE content with success. This is a Pure Class Build. Magicka Templar Hybrid Build Setup
The Build offers different setups, depending on the difficulty of the content you wish to complete but also the gear you wish to wear!
Trials Group
This setup is for dedicated group gameplay, is using Trial gear and it aims to achieve the best damage possible.

No Trial Gear
The No-Trial Gear setup is meant for easier Solo but also easier Group PVE Gameplay. You can wear this setup if you are planning to play Overland content(Public Dungeons, World Bosses) or clear normal Dungeons. This setup is not strong enough to survive Solo Arenas like the Maelstrom Arena, Vateshran Hollows and Infinite Archive. For this purpose you should use a dedicated Solo PVE Templar Build. Replace Arms of Relequen with Orderโs Wrath to create a strong No Trial Gear Setup!

Skills for Magicka Templar Hybrid Build
The Templar is a versatile Class in ESO with access to several AOE skills. You can use those skills to deal reliable damage but also support your party.












- Deadly Cloak(Blade Cloak): Strong DPS Skill.
- Puncturing Sweep(Puncturing Strikes): Spammable.
- Radiant Oppression(Radiant Destruction): Strong Execute skill.
- Barbed Trap(Trap Beast): Very good DOT damage and a boost to our Critical Damage.
- Blazing Spear(Spear Shards): AOE damage skill.
- Flawless Dawnbreaker(Dawnbreaker): It buffs weapon damage and deals great direct and DOT damage.
- Stampede(Critical Charge): Powerful AOE damage skill.
- Carve(Cleave): Great Bleed damage skill that applies a shield.
- Ritual of Retribution(Cleansing Ritual): Strong AOE skill that is constantly damaging enemies.
- Channeled Focus(Rune Focus): Boosts Armor, recovers Magicka and Heals.
- Spell Symmetry(Equilibrium): Use it when low on Magicka to restore it.
- Crescent Sweep(Radial Sweep): Main Ultimate.
Rotation
This is a more dynamic rotation where you attack with your spammable and re cast the other damage abilities when necessary! Drink a potion, set your Barbed Trap, Channeled Focus and attack with Stampede, Carve x3, Ritual of Retribution switch bars. Continue with Blazing Spear, Deadly Cloak, Puncturing Sweep as your spammable. Keep attacking with Puncturing Sweep and re cast the other skills when necessary. When the enemy’s Health drops below 25%-30% start using Radiant Oppression. Use Spell Symmetry to restore Magicka when low. Use Crescent Sweep when ready and always Light Attack before every skill and action to boost damage!

Passive skills are always important for every character and can help you maximize the potential of yourย Magicka Templar Build. Try to unlock them as fast as possible, so you can become stronger and tackle harder content faster. These are the Passive Skills you should unlock for the Build.

Champion Points
Below you will find the best Champion Points setup for the Build. When allocating Champion points to Slottable and Passive Stars your primary goal is to create paths! Allocate the minimum required points to stars along your path in order to reach your desired Slottable Stars faster. Once you have unlocked all Stars, start allocating more Champion Points to them to fill them out. Focus on Slottable Stars first, then Passive Stars. Warfare

- Passive: Tireless Discipline, Flawless Ritual, War Mage, Piercing, Battle Mastery, Mighty, Quick Recovery, Hardy, Elemental Aegis, Preparation, Precision, Blessed, Eldritch Insight
Craft
- Slottable Stars: Steedโs Blessing, Master Gatherer, Gifted Rider, War Mount
- Passive: Gilded Fingers, Fortuneโs Favor, Wanderer, Steadfast Enchantment, Treasure Hunter(slottable, required for path), Rationer, Liquid Efficiency
Fitness
- Slottable Stars: Celerity, Rejuvenation, Boundless Vitality, Fortified

Food and Potions for Magplar DPS Build
Clockwork Citrus Filet or Orzorgaโs Smoked Bear Haunch is the Best Food for the Build while Essence of Spell Power is the best option as Potions.

The Thief Mundus to boost Critical Chance.
Race
The Best Race for the Magicka Templar Hybrid Build in ESO is High Elf. Dark Elf, Khajiit and Breton are nice alternative Races you can use for a DPS focused Build. Any Race with Magicka bonuses can work well though. You can find more about the playable races in my ESO Race Guide!
Vampire or Werewolf
Neither is necessary.
Companion for Magicka Templar Hybrid Build ESO
If you wish to play Solo with the Build, you can bring along a mighty Companion! Companions in ESO are helpful allies that can assist you in combat. Every Companion can fulfill every role in the game and help you enjoy ESO more by clearing content faster or by simply interacting with them and their charming personality! There are various Builds you can use for every available ESO Companion!
As a DPS focused character my recommendation is to bring along a Tank or Healer Companion!
