No Trial Gear

The No-Trial Gear setup is meant for easier Solo but also easier Group PVE Gameplay. You can wear this setup if you are planning to play Overland content(Public Dungeons, World Bosses) or clear normal Dungeons. This setup is not strong enough to survive Solo Arenas like the Maelstrom ArenaVateshran Hollows and Infinite Archive. For this purpose you should use a dedicated Solo PVE Warden Build. To create an effective No Trial gear setup all you have to do is replace Arms of Relequen with the great Orderโ€™s Wrath Set! You can also replace the Slimecraw and Harpooner’s combo with a full Monster Set, like Kjalnar’s Nightmare.

Skills for Magicka Warden Hybrid

The Build relies on Warden potent abilities to deal damage but also utilizes strong Weapon Skills! Screaming Cliff Racer is your main offensive ability that along with Subterranean Assault can deal massive damage to enemies. Arctic Blast can heal but also deal frost damage which makes it a great utility skill.

  • Screaming Cliff Racer(Dive): Main skill & spammable.
  • Fetcher Infection(Swarm): DOT skill.
  • Subterranean Assault(Scorch): Strong Area skill that deals great AOE damage. You can use Deep Fissure(Scorch) in Solo gameplay for its debuff.
  • Barbed Trap(Trap Beast): Additional DOT damage but we are mainly using it for the boost to our Critical Damage.
  • Bird of Prey(Falcon’s Swiftness): Slotted for its passive boost to damage.
  • Wild Guardian(Feral Guardian): Powerful Ultimate.
  • Stampede(Critical Charge): Powerful AOE damage skill.
  • Carve(Cleave): Great Bleed damage skill that applies a shield.
  • Blue Betty(Betty Netch): Boosts damage and assists with sustain.
  • Arctic Blast(Arctic Wind): Strong Frost AOE damage over time ability.
  • Lotus Blossom(Lotus Flower): Strong passive healing.

Rotation

Buff yourself with Blue Betty, Lotus Blossom, drink a potion and set your Barbed Trap. Attack with Stampede, Carve x3, Arctic Blast and switch bars. Continue with Fetcher Infection, Ultimate(if ready), Subterranean Assault or Deep Fissure, Screaming Cliff Racer as your spammable. Keep attacking with Screaming Cliff Racer and re-cast the other skills when necessary! Use your Ultimate when ready and always Light Attack before every skill and action to boost your damage!

If you wish to play Solo with the Magicka Warden, you can bring along a mighty Companion! Companions in ESO are helpful allies that can assist you in combat.
